Chapter II:

" It getting late. Maybe we should get back to your room. I have a feeling we're going to be tested on our strenght tomorrow." Yoko said as she got up and dusted herself. You got up and did the same as she had done. After dusting yourselves off you went into the room before her. You didn't even notice that she didn't even come in with you. Since it was an exhausting day, you feel face flat onto your bed.

Where Yoko is:

" I know you're there. Now it would be wise to show yourself before I make you come out of the darkness." Yoko said as she threw a stone towards the place Youko Kurama was hiding. " Owww, why the hell did you do that for? I was gonna come out anyways." he exclaimed rubbing the back of his head which now had a really really really big bump on it. " Hey, you were the one who decided to spy on my Hikari and me. I didn't start all this, now did I?" she said glaring at him.

" Look I just want to know who was out on the roof. So, I came out and I saw who it was. Then __________ started talking with you and about both your little problem." he said trying to defend himself from Yoko's venomous remarks. " Well like I said __________ and I will tell everyone about it later. So can't you wait till then?" she questioned him. " No not really." he replied to her with one of his infamous smirks. " Fine then get your damn ass up this roof cause I like the view here better." she said looking up at the shimmering night sky.

He gracefully jumped to the roof not making a noise whatsoever. After about a minute of Yoko satring out at the night sky, Youko Kurama got sick and tired of the damn quiet surroundings. " So are you gonna tell me or what?" he asked in a very unpatient way. " Well as you already know I am _________ darkside. Without me she would be as innocent as a new born baby. I know if I leave her she'll be alone in this life without anyone to protect her from life itself. Well, it's my time to leave her and go into my own body. The problem with that is that I don't have a Hikari and she doesn't have a Yami. We cannot stand in this world without both. I need to do the ritual at sunset tomorrow and luckly I have away to get her to give me a half of her light and for me to give her half of my darkness." Yoko said while closing her eyes.

" So what does this have to do with me?" Youko ( okay YOUKO will be YOUKO KURAMA. YOKO will be YOKO) asked not wanting to think he wasn't listening. " Like I said I needed someone to protect her. She doesn't know good from bad. I also need someone to protect me from destroying this whole world and end up in Spirit World Prison by Koenma. I would ask her cousin but he already had to worry about her as it is. So I came to ask you to take care of her. As for me I still have no one to have a careful eye and watch over me." Yoko said depression in her eyes. " I'll do it and as for you I can have Hiei have all three of his eyes watch you carefully." Youko said looking at Yoko. She was pretty and had the mysterious aura around her. She seemed to be about his age but in a petite fifteen year old's body. He knew she had wisdom because of her eyes. It showed him her inner fears and what she's seen throughout her entire lifetime. He knew, for some reason, that she had seen murder and that she's killed demon's in her job in life too.

" I thank you for everything you've done Youko. Thank you, again." she said with a genuine smile on her face. He smiled back and sat there with her while she tasked him how he's going to get Hiei, the most anti-social person she knows, other then herself, to protect her from well herself. " Don't worry about it. I'll just ask him and how can he not accept protecting a beauty as yourself?" he asked her while she stared out at the rising sun. " Youko, flatery won't get you or anyone else near me or my Hikari. The only way is if she loves you and you absolutely love her back. Is that clear?" Yoko asked with a maniacal look on her face. As if she was about to kill someone let alone anyone. " Yes, well I better change back into my human form and we better get breakfast started.

A blinding white light shone out in the distance and Youko turned back to Kurama. " Well lets get going shall we?" he asked her politely. " Yes I think we shall." Yoko reaplied jumping off the roof right after Kurama did. They entered the kitchen together and Kurama decided to teach Yoko how to make breakfast. Just incase she was up before amyone else and was hungry. After about thirty minutes they were done with everything on the table and ready to go. Yoko took some toast, bacon, and eggs. Once she finished shee took her plate to the sink and, while washing her plate, she heard a strange sound coming from the dinning table. She went out to find everything on the serving plates to be gone and Yusuke and Kuwabara having a burping contest. Once she had entered Hiei, Botan, Genkai, Yukina, Keiko, Yusuke, and Kuwabara looked at you and all shouted in unison, " WHO ARE YOU?!?!?" ~ Yoko mentally talking to you~ You haven't told them yet, have you?~ ~you mentally talking to Yoko~ oops?~ ~Hikari I give up on you.~
