You Remind Me

When I first saw you, I couldn't believe,

They way you smiled took the breath out of me,

And maybe I am seeing things,

But if it's true to wane me,

I feel strange

As I sit down on your new seat, you think if you have forgotten anything. Your wearing your uniform, your hair is perfect, your stuff is complete...at least you think it is, and other first day of school things you might have forgotten. Yes, a new school again for the umpteenth time. But you had a good feeling about this place, a good feeling something good might happen.

And it just did. Because there, entering the door of your new homeroom period, was the most gorgeous guy you have ever seen. He was a regular Adonis, With eyes so emerald, they were beyond human, Hair the color of a perfect rose, and the seemingly hottest, most adorable voice in the world. Okay, so red hair and green eyes were unusual, and they were christmas colors but so what? You continue to look at him, wondering, when suddenly,'Oh, wow!' you think. He had just smiled at you! You think you melt there in you seat. You manage to smile back at him, and mentally checking if you just peed in your seat with excitement.

And, as your luck would have it, he sits next to you! He introduces himself politley, kindly and sweetly was Minamino Suuichi. You smile and gave him your name. You obsereve his name had meant 'excellence first.' You correctly guess that he was a top student in the school. You wonder why even if you are 100% sure this was the first time you see him, (I mean come on, It's not everyday you meet a dude like HIM!) much less talk to him, you feel as if you kave known the guy for many years. You shrug it off as something that isn't true. The bell then rings and the teacher comes in,and he asks you to introduce yourself to the class. You are totally cool with it because it was now SO usual for you. You say you name and some other stuff like you age and some of you hobbies and other stuff. You notice Suuichi is attentivley listening to your every word, his smile seeming to make you faint!

Never thought I could love again,

but then I came and changed something within,

And as you walk to the next class, you chat up with a girl who claims to be Minamino's biggest fanatic. You find out more about him and just as she talks about how devastated he was when his mother bacame sick, she sees him walk up towards you. The girl beside you swoons when he asks YOU if you wanted to hang out with him after school with some of his friends. You say yes and he smiles at you, says that he can't wait and slightly bows at you and the girl beside you smiles again and leaves. You realize you only have one minute to find your next class. You shriek and frantically run. Then you realized that for the first time in you life, you have never been so upbeat, so alive. Maybe it was the new school, Meiou High. Or maybe something, rather somone else.

Of course without a doubt it was beacuse of him. Minamino Suuichi, the student that tops every class, walks with a cretain grace and elegance you so adored. His voice, speaking a thousand musical notes at a time, so deep and kind. Suuichi moved in a way that you would think he wanted to be alone, a stranger in a crowd. But no matter what he did, he still outshone the others.And the smile...oh god, if Scrooge and Hitler or someone evil saw that, there wouldn't be a WWII or a Christmas Carol.Youv'e seen the way he dances too, believe it or not. Thank goodness Physical Education included dances like the Waltz, in which you two were partners.Every eye was on the two of you when you danced. He was graceful, a complete gentleman, and he didn't get mad when you both nearly tripped on your two left feet.

As the final bell for the day rang, you couldn't help but literally fly out of your seat. It had been a good day, you have you have made new friends already, more friends than you had expected to make. You were about to go on a 'date' as Suuichi's fans said with a mysterious yet likeable guy. You go out the school and walk to the parking lot. Just as you were about to take out your sleek, silver Civic's keys, you see someone's shadow coming up to you. "Ready?" Suuichi's voice asks. You say yes and offer him to drive the car. He says okay and you both get in. He starts the engine and the next thing you knew, you were alrady cruising down the sreets with Mandy Moore's 'Crush' in the background.

You listen to the song and laugh bacause it's so similar to your situation. Suuichi was a perfect guy for you, everytime your with him,your body undergoes abnormal reactions. He smiles, you melt, he talks, you wither, he moves, you die. Yep. You were undergoing what was known as a 'crush.'

You say everything that I'm afaraid of,

You do, everything I wish I did,

Everyone wants you, everybody loves you,

How true Mandy. How true. He stops the car and you realize that your already there. You see trees, and stairs. "Where are we?" You ask, getting out the car. He explains that there was a temple at the top of the stairs that a friend of his owns. They were going there to meet the others. You say that you didn't understand that, and he says that it was alright. "You'll see." He said, and took your hand as you both go up the steps.

You sigh to yourself, comteplating wether to tell Suuichi you have a crush on him or not. You look at him and you chicken out into telling him. You didn't want to lose what you had now with him, saying it would be too...risky. He asks if there was anything on your mind right now, you say, "Nothing much, just wondering what's at the top of those stairs."

He smiles and says, "Your just about to find out."

"See, I told you it would be fun." Suuichi tells you as you go back down the temple steps. Chills go up your spine as he holds your hand. "It wasn't all that bad, was it?"

"Actually, Suuichi, it was really enjoyable." You reply. You get in the car and talk about anything that came in your minds. And out of the clear blue, you suddenly blurt out, "You know Suuichi, I agree with our batchmates. You really are cute. I mean, you may be a bit mysterious, but you are nice and a total gentleman and-oops."

He laughs as he pulls the car over near your house. You suddenly realize his emerald eyes were really twinkling. You apologize, saying that you sometimes forget to think before you act. "That's okay with me. I really had a great time today. I'm really glad I spent it with someone like you. Arigatou." And as Suuichi turns off the ignition, you couldn't help but give him a small kiss on his cheek. You furiously blush and he blushes just a bit and smiles. "I'll see you on Monday." He said. "Oh, and by the way, you have a really nice voice."

And as he leaves, you sit in the drivers seat and lean back, unable to stop smiling and eventually, giggling. It was definitley going to be an amazing schoolyear.
