Fox- I don't own anything. Also I have good news and bad news. The good news is that all my stories are updated. The bad news is that school is starting and I can't work on my stories as often and therefore won't be able to update them as quickly as planned. Sorry for the long delays.

The next morning we were out bright and early. Well actually dark and wet but at least it was getting close to morning. I rode on my broom with Toyo sitting behind me with Koji in his arms while the others walked. Yusuke looked at me tiredly.

"Hey think I can ride on that for a while?" he asked.

"In order for it to work I have to be riding it and since Toyo is sitting here, no," I said as I tried to keep awake.

Yusuke muttered something under his breath and Toyo stirred softly. I looked back at him and he smiled at me.

"Hey are we there yet?" he asked.

"We still have a long way to go," I said to him.

"Think we can stop to eat?"

I looked back at the other guys who also seemed a bit hungry. I smiled and looked at Toyo, "Sure."

He got off my broom and I set it down. I looked around and couldn't see any water sources but there were a lot of branches to make a fire with. I gathered the wood and made a fire.

"Hey Kurama are there any water sources around here?" I asked him as I finished setting the fire.

Kurama sniffed the air and smiled at me, "There's one around here, I'll show you."

"All right," I said and stood in front of him.

Kurama then picked me up as a he turned into Youko.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I'm well known here and demons wouldn't dare to bother us unless they want death. It will be safer," he said looking down at me.

"If you say so," I said as he ran off to find water.

~*~At the Lake~*~

Youko stopped in front of a beautiful lake. It was a clear blue and it shimmered under the light of the sun. I looked into it and saw straight to the bottom. Fish swam by but quickly swam out of view. I smiled and looked back at Youko.

"Youko this place is beautiful," I said happily.

"Yes it is," he said and walked over to me. He slowly began to change back to Kurama, "But it pales into comparison with you."

"You know I have the feeling you're just saying that to get in my pants," I said smiling playfully at him.

He smiled back and wrapped his arms around my waist, "I could be."

I gave out a small chuckle and kissed him lightly. He kissed me back and licked my lips. On command I opened my mouth and let his tongue inside. I gave out a small moan as he pushed harder. Our kiss was getting intense when an arrow sped by and landed into a tree. We stopped and looked back at it. Kurama walked towards it and saw a note attached to it. He read the note and then looked back at me, "They've been kidnapped."

"Who?" I asked rushing over to him.

"Your brother and the others, they want us to meet at the castle only 30 miles from here," Kurama said pointing to the north.

I gasped, "Toyo's been kidnapped?"

"I'm afraid so, don't worry we'll find them and save them," Kurama said reassuringly.

I looked up at him and nodded, "Right we will."

We quickly rushed back to the resting spot where the other's been and saw that everything was ruined. I looked at the trees and saw that Yusuke was using his spirit gun because of the hole that went right through it.

"I don't get it couldn't we have been able to sense their energy?" I asked turning back to Kurama.

He looked around and saw a strange dust on the ground he lightly sniffed it and then turned back to me, "It's a magic powder that's a type of force-field nothing enters it and nothing comes out of it till the user speaks a word to break it."

I looked down and then noticed Koji limping out of the bushes. I gasped and quickly scooped him up.

"Koji what happened to you?" I asked him while I started to heal him with my magic.

It lied in my arms motionless and then I noticed blood on his claws. Kurama sniffed the blood and looked up at him, "It's strange it's a different blood then yours but your scent is on it."

"Well I did pick him up," I said and looked around that's when I noticed something on the ground.

I walked over to it and picked it up. It was a light green handkerchief with a rose print at the bottom of it and my initials in the right corner. I gasped and looked at it wide-eyed.

"I can't be," I whispered to myself.

"What's wrong?" Kurama asked resting a hand on my shoulder.

"This was mine but I gave it to someone."

"Who?"

"To… Ronin…" I stated remembering that day.

~*~Flashback~*~

We had just finished slaying the demons and stopped to rest.

"And another one bits the dust," Akira said while placing his gun in its halter.

"For once we can agree on something Akira," stated Leon smiling at him.

Kane, Ronin, and I stood there watching them smiling. We've met about a month ago and became quick friends. They were helping me get to a castle in which a dark lord ruled, the one that killed my kind off all but me.

I gave a small laugh and they looked at me. Akira placed me in a small head lock and smiled.

"So how far did you and Ronin get?" he asked.

I laughed and escaped his grip, "That's none of your business."

"It will be when we hear `Oh Ronin' in the woods at night," Leon said.

Ronin and I blushed as I closed my eyes and looked away, "I have my decency."

"What decency? You change in front of us and bath in any body of water that's around," Kane stated.

"At least you can't see me when I'm changing and as for bathing you guys are standing guard so I shouldn't worry about any peeping Tom's," I said smiling.

"Yeah except that one time when Ronin `accidentally' tripped and fell in the water with you," Akira said smiling.

"It was an accident Akira and it wouldn't have happened if you didn't push me in," Ronin said a bit embarrassed.

I smiled, "Well I need to bath so can you guys stand guard?"

"When is it going to be our turn to take a bath?" Akira asked.

"When I'm done I guess," I said.

We walked into the woods and stood at a nearby lake that had a waterfall near it. I turned back to the others, "I don't expect you guys to try anything."

"Don't worry just bathe," Akira said while sitting on the ground.

Kane rested in a tree and Leon was leaning against one. Ronin wasn't seen near. I looked around for him as I walked towards the water but couldn't see him anywhere. He never did anything like this. I undressed, stepped into the water, and began to wash myself. That's when I heard a rustle in the bushes. I looked up and saw nothing. I thought it was one of the guys playing a trick on me.

"Akira if this is another one of your jokes I'm going to kill you," I said but I didn't hear a reply.

All I felt was a pair of arms encircle my waist. I turned and stared into Ronin's gentle gray eyes. I smiled, "Ronin you scared me."

~*~Lemon scene~*~

He gently kissed my neck as I felt his naked body pressed against mine. I smiled and turned to kiss him. His tongue slipped into my mouth as he gently pressed my body against the bank. I then gasped and felt some race through my veins. I was now a part of him and he was apart of me. I lied on the ground breathless and tired with him on top of me. I noticed a scratch on his arm and grabbed my handkerchief and wrapped it.

"You can keep it as a memory of this day," I said smiling up at him.

He looked at it then back at me smiling, "I won't need anything to remember this day by as long as you're with me."

~*~End Flashback~*~

I felt a hot tear fall from my eyes and soak into the cloth. Kurama held me in a warm embrace rubbing my back.

"Don't worry not matter what I'll always be there for you," he said soothingly.

I smiled, "Thank you Kurama, for everything."

We then stood up and raced to the castle where I was at one year ago, where I faced the evil that killed my family and the evil that took my first love away from me. I'm going back and this time I refuse to lose.
