###############Chapter 6. Showdown At High Noon######################################
An hour of preparations has passed and the fight is getting ready to start. Yusuke is quite excited
to be able to fight with Danny. And Danny seems excited to. "Yusuke, I'll start out in my human form all
right. Then I might go in to my demon form. It depends on how strong you are," says Danny. " All right,"
says Yusuke. " Yusuke, you should be careful and you use your brain for once. Danielle is quick to
thinking on her feet. And that is definetly a big advantage over you," says Genkai from where shes sitting
on her back porch. Kurama, Hiei, Kuwbubara,Shizeru,Keiko, and Yukina are there to. " Yusuke, I'm going to make
it so that my arrows don't pierce your skin or kill you. They'll go right through you, and hurt like heck," says
Danny. " I'll be right back. I have got to go get in to my fighting clothes," says Danny as she starts to head
inside. " What, you have to wear flashy clothes or something like those other show offs?" asks Kuwabara.
" No, I just don't like to fight in human clothes. There to uncomfortable," says Danny as she enters the house.
" Our clothes aren't that uncomfortable," mumbles Kuwabara. Three minutes later Danny comes out in her
fighting outfit.(It's the outfit that she was in from the picture in chapter one) She walked over to where shes
suppose to stand. " All right, I'm ready now. What about you?" asks Danny. " I've been ready," says Yusuke
as he takes a fighting stance. " Begin," yells Genkai. Yusuke charged for a barrage of kicks and punches. Danny
took up defense and managed to match his speed and block them all. When Yusuke went for a high kick,
Danny crouched down and kicked his other foot out from underneath him. He went went falling to the ground, but
not before giving Danny a nice kick in the shoulder that sent her flying. Both fighters were back on there
feet at about the same time. " Not bad Yusuke. I can see why a lot of demons are afraid of you," says Danny
while rubbing the spot where Yusuke kicked her in the shoulder. "Thanks, coming from you I'll take that as
a compliment," says Yusuke. After he said this he again attacked Danny with a barrage of punches and
kicks, but with a little more speed in the attack. Danny raised her speed to match his and again took the defesive.
When a punch came her way she ducked under it and gave Yusuke a uppercut to the jaw. That sent him
flying. " Yusuke, when you go into your attacks you have to keep a very keen eye on your opponents
and be prepared to block at any time," says Danny. " I'll remember that," says Yusuke now rubbing his
sore jaw. This time Danny started the attack. She charged at Yusuke, and when she was a few feet away
from him, she did a flip over him and attempted to kick him the side. But Yusuke caught it just in time and
blocked. Then he attempted a punch before she hit the ground. She managed to block but still went flying
and skidded on the ground. Danny quickly got up and Yusuke went in for a charge with the barrage of
punches and Danny took the defense. And when Danny had attempted to punch him. He saw it coming
and jumped over her and was preparing to use the spirit gun her. Danny had seen the blast just in time
to block it. But it still sent her sailing back in to the trees. Yusuke stared at the path of destruction it
had caused and wondered if he might have to much energy in it. " Water arrow," came a yell from
down the path. Then Yusuke saw a blue type of light heading towards him. It was moving to fast to
dodge so it went right through his shoulder. And Danny was right because it hurt like heck. He fell
down on to one knee and held his shoulder. It may not have been bleeding, but it hurt. Danny
came walking up from the path. " Yusuke, you should never go to where an opponent has fallen.
Especially if you can't see them," says Danny. Yusuke now gets back on his feet and is ready
to continue the fight. He again prepares to fire the spirit gun. And Danny forms a yellow bow and
arrow from her energy. She gets the arrow ready to be fired " Spirit Gun," yells Yusuke firing his
attack. " Lightening Arrow," yells Danny as she to fires her attack. The energies stop in the middle as
one trys to over come the other. It looks like the energies will disperse when Danny's arrow
eleminates Yusuke's and continues on its course. It pierces Yusuke's other shoulder and goes through.
Yusuke falls to the ground in pain as that one was even worse than the first. " Yusuke,
this isn't a life or death fight. And theres nothing to win. So you don't have to keep fighting,"
says Danny as she stands in front of the fallen Yusuke. " Why don't you train some more.
and then I'll fight you again?" asks Danny. " Alright," says Yusuke as he gets up. They head
up to where the others are. The others, besides Genkai,watched the fight in aw. " That was quite
an impressive fight," says Kurama when the two fighters reach there location. The two fighters
look like they fought in a gang fight with all their cuts, scrapes, and bruises. " Yusuke, and Danny,
would you like me to heal wounds?" asks Yukina " Sure," they both say as they head in side
with Yukina. " You mean that Urameshi lost?" says Kuwabara still staring at where the fight
took place. " Yes the dim wit lost. But learned some new rules for a fight," says Genkai as
she to heads in side followed by Keiko and Shizeru. " And it was a heck of a show," says Shizeru as she steps inside. " Yes, some of
those tips will definetely come in handy during a fight," says Kurama as he heads inside.
" Man, I hope I never have to fight her. She didn't even have to go in to her demon form,"
says Kuwabara as he gets up to head inside." If you fought her you wouldn't last a
minute," says Hiei as he heads inside. " What's that shrimp? Get back here and say that
to my face," says Kuwabara going after Hiei. Back with Yukina. Danny is done being healed
and its now Yusuke's turn. " Hey Danny, how come that second attack hurt worse than the
first?" aska Yusuke." The first arrow I fired at you was a water arrow. And the second
was a lightening arrow. And since water conducts electricity it hurt more," says Danny.
" All done," says Yukina. " Thanks Yukina," says Yusuke as he stands up. Then the
ice maiden and the two fighters went to join the others and have dinner.
