Yoko remembered something. He pulled out a card.

"I stopped by in America. Here, this is from Destiny."he handed her the card. Zinnia looked excited.

"Really?!"she said happily. She opened the card and read it. "Happy Valentine's Day, Zinnia. I love you."Zinnia smiled. "Oh and theres a picture inside."she said examing the photo. Everyone gathered around to take a look. Yuske and Kuwabara drooled.

"Wow......"said Kuwabara.

"That Destiny is a hot babe!"shouted Yuske. Zinnia stared at the two.

"Destiny.....is my mom...."she said flatly. Yuske and Kuwabara's mouths dropped open. Yuske took the picture and stared at it.

"Whoa......this is your mom?"asked Yuske. Zinnia nodded. He looked up at her. "Well.....how old is she?". Zinnia took the pic off of him.

"My mommy isnt dating guys who buy her daughter a muzzle!"she screamed. She turned to Kurama. "Uh...like I was saying, can you bring Yoko out so I can give him his card. I dont want him to feel left out." Mitari became scared again.

"You dont have to worry about that, Zinnia. He has no feelings."said Kuwabara.

"Hey! Dont say that! That's mean!".said Zinnia with her hands on her hips. Kurama tried to reason with her.

"Zinnia, I dont think it's such a good idea to bring out Yoko."Zinnia tilted her head to one side.

"Why?"she asked. Kurama tried to think up a reason.

"Well, you know how Yoko is. He might.......get out of control and who knows what he'll do."started Kurama. "Remember he is a demon."Zinnia frowned.

"So am I.....and Hiei. Please Kurama? Please?"she stared up at him with her teary puppy dog eyes. Except this time they were real. Kurama looked into those beautiful hazel eyes. He looked over to Mitari then back at Zinnia.

"Keep your distance. The potion would wear off after a while. Plus, Yoko wont harm you in front of Zinnia."said Kurama telepathicly in Mitari. Kurama sighed. "Okay, Zinnia, you win." Hiei was sitting in a chair gobbling up ice cream waiting for the entertainment to begin(Hiei, that's terrible!). Kurama slowly pulled out a potion. He gulped down a portion of it. They all stood there and waited for something to happen. Mitari's heart rate began to increase. Kurama's eyes turned all white, then a cyclone of blue smoke engulfed him. Mitari watched in fear. The cry of the fox was heard and then when the smoke cleared the 7ft fox demon known as Yoko Kurama.(Okay, when I say Yoko then its the spirit beast but if I say Yoko Kurama than its the fox demon. He looked around at his surroundings. His eyes shifted over to Mitari who was cowaring in fear. Everyone watched to see what would happen.

"Yoko!"screamed Zinnia happily as she jumped into his arms to hug him. The fox demon looked down at her.

"Zinnia.....it's good to see you again...."he smiled. Zinnia slightly blushed. She then remembered the card.

"Oops, almost forgot. In Ningenkai theres a holiday that comes once a year called Valentine's Day....and well...you make cards for those you care about.....so....."she held up the card. "Here ya go!"she said happily. The fox demon slowly took the card and opened it up then read it. He lowered the card and embraced the wolf demon with one arm.

"Thank you...."he said with a smirk on his face. Zinnia's ears wiggled in delight.

"Glad you like it."she said happily. She then thought of something. "Yesterday Hiei made me a cloak just like his. Would you like to see?"she asked. Yoko Kurama smiled then nodded. "Great! I'll go get it!".

"Take your time..."he said as Zinnia ran out of the kitchen. Now that Zinnia had left the room Mitari was totally vulnerable. Yoko Kurama turned to Mitari who was completely white now. "Human......"he started. Kuwabara tried to help Mitari out.

"Uh....Yoko? You know.....there's lots of other girls in the world. Maybe you can-"

"Silence...."said Yoko Kurama cutting off Kuwabara. He then went back to Mitari. "Listen, human......over time I've came to the conclusion that slaughtering you would make Zinnia hate me. So, I figured that I'll let you go on this.....in the end she will choose one of us."his eyes narrowed. "But.....if you do anything to hurt her I will kill you." Mitari gulped and nodded. Just then Zinnia came running back in the kitchen with the black cloak on.

"Im back everybody!"she turned to Yoko Kurama. "Well, what do you think?"she said posing in her cloak. Yoko Kurama chuckled to himself and place his hand on her head.

"Beautiful......."his eyes began to flicker green. This let everyone know that his time was almost up. "Zinnia, it's almost time for me to leave....please accept this."he pulled out a white rose from his hair and handed it to her. "This rose is rare and special."he smiled. "Just like you." he then remembered the human holiday she had told him about. "Happy Valentine's Day."he kissed her cheek. Zinnia turned 3 shades of red as the blue cyclone of smoke engulfed Yoko Kurama. Once the smoke cleared Kurama stood in his place. He smiled.

"Well, it looks like everything turned out well."


That night there was the Valentine's Day festival. The whole gang decided to go. There was music, games, entertainment, food stands, and rides. Mitari and the other guys were walking around wondering what they should do first. Keiko walked next to Yuske dressed in a red kimono with pink hearts. Yukina walked next to Kuwabara with a green kimono with flowers on it. Hiei was hoarding a large quanity of cotton candy and Kurama was eating a hotdog. Mitari stopped and thought about all that has happened to him in the past couple days. He had made a friend which he had quickly fell in love with, was threatened by a fox demon, met a spirit beast..just so much stuff has happened. He stared up at the night sky. There were so many stars and shined and twinkled.

"They're beautiful, aren't they?"said a voice behind him. He turned around to see Zinnia. He blushed when he saw her. She was wearing a blue kimono with yellow stars on them. Her large braid which she had on the back of her head and undone. Her hair was so long and beautiful. Her beautiful twinkling eyes matched the stars in the sky. Mitari had never seen such beauty. He finally had gathered the courage to say it.

"Zinnia......you look nice."he said blushing. She smiled.

"Thank you, Mitari."she then heard the music playing. "Let's dance, SeaMan!"she grabbed his arm and ran through the crowd of people over to the band. As they ran Mitari for the first time in his life felt happy and finally Zinnia had gotten his nickname right.

Zinnia: Darn it, who's my secret admirer?

Me: *anime fall* You didnt figure it out?!

Zinnia: No......
