Two weeks. Two weeks had passed since Jamie had sex with his teammate in the bathroom of the team's base. Bit had left almost as soon as he finished washing up, leaving Jamie to finish his bath alone. Two Zoid battles, both victories for the Blitz Team, had also passed in that time frame. Jamie had actually been apart of the last battle, he and the Reynos taking on the opposing team's Stealth Storm Sworder. In actuality, Wild Eagle had taken over a few moments into the battle and had helped the team win, but Jaime was the one in control when the Reynos was back on the ground. It had been crashed…again. The Wild Eagle sucked when it came to landing the Reynos in one piece.

The fact that his zoid was out of commission for a while had Jamie slightly depressed, but it wasn't the only thing bothering him. Bit seemed to be acting like the encounter with Jamie hadn't happened. There had been a few mischievous little grins and a wink or two directed at Jamie when the others weren't looking later in the day, but they stopped that night. Bit went right back to acting like he always had and Jamie was disappointed. When the time for the second battle rolled around, Jamie had pushed most of the hopes of a second encounter with Bit to the back of his mind.

It occurred to Jamie that he probably could've tried talking to Bit, but the boy had no idea how to even begin a conversation like that. The fact that one of the others always seemed to show up just as Jamie was preparing to try and talk to Bit didn't help, either. He didn't even know if he'd be able to go through with talking to Bit about it if they didn't show up. The boy had to settle with fantasies and his hand for any release once again.
Two days after the second battle and the parts needed to repair the Reynos had not arrived. That fact, and the lack of battles for the week, left Jamie with more free time than he usually had. He still had to deal with taking care of things like the team's laundry and cleaning up after one of Leena's rampages, but he was happy to have the free time he did.

The Reynos pilot had been using the free time to enjoy himself in various different ways. He got a few games of Zoids chess in with Brad, helped Dr. Toros construct a rather large model, and even managed to mildly enjoy a day fishing with his father.

“Heya, Jamie,” he said cheerfully. The older pilot laughed to himself when he noticed a green towel on the floor, half under Jamie's bed. Bit had arrived at Jamie's door much earlier. He had been about to knock when he heard a moan through the door. The Liger pilot grinned when he heard another moan and realized what Jamie must have been doing. He wasn't able to tell if he had or not because Jamie just blinked a few times before nodding.

 

“Uh…sure thing, Bit,” Jamie answered. He had noticed the strange tone in Bit's voice but didn't think much of it. “When do we leave?”

 

“I'll be waiting in the hanger a eleven tomorrow morning,” Bit answered.

 

“Okay. I'll bring some food with us and we can have lunch out there,” Jamie said as the idea came to him. This information caused Bit's grin to grow. Not only would he be getting Jamie, but there would be food as well. He nodded vigorously and Jamie smiled.

 

“Great! I'll see ya then!” Bit said and turned to leave the room. Before he reached the door, Bit glanced over his shoulder at Jamie and flashed a mischievous grin. Jamie blinked in surprise but Bit was gone before the Reynos pilot could react further.

The next day, Jamie was in the kitchen making sandwiches when another member of the Blitz Team walked into the kitchen. Brad Hunter, pilot of the Shadow Fox, strolled over the refrigerator and removed a can of soda. He glanced over at Jamie and then walked up behind the shorter pilot. He snatched a sandwich and Jamie frowned at him.

 

“Why are you making lunch now?” Brad asked before taking a bite of the sandwich he stole.

“I'm making lunch for me and Bit. We're going down to the ravine to see if there's anything worth salvaging. I already made lunch for you, Leena, and Doc. It's in the freezer,” Jamie responded, creating another sandwich to replace the one Brad had taken.

 

Brad nodded slightly and then yawned. He had a pretty good idea just why Bit wanted Jamie to go with him on a junk hunt with him. The perceptive mercenary had noticed the way Bit had Jamie had been looking at one another that day two weeks ago. He had also seen Jamie's odd walk, and had a pretty good idea of what they had done together. He didn't see the point in talking to either of them about it until they decided to tell the team themselves. The Shadow Fox's pilot didn't even know if they were in any sort of relationship or if they were just having sex. He'd decided to just go along with things as he normally would. The pilot shrugged and smirked slightly.

 

“Well, have fun out there, Jamie” Brad said and began walking out of the kitchen. Jamie stared at his retreating back for a moment before shaking his head and beginning to pack the food he'd prepared into the cooler he'd be bringing. Once everything was packed up, he picked up the cooler and made his way to the hanger. He found Bit leaning halfway into the back of his truck, moving something around. Jamie stopped and his gaze lowered to what was contained by Bit's red pants. When Bit stood up and glanced over at Jamie, the younger pilot shook his head and smiled.

“I have our lunch right here,” Jamie said as he held the cooler up. Bit grinned and took the cooler from the younger pilot's hands and peeked inside. His eyes seemed to light up as he saw what was inside and Jamie couldn't help but laugh a little.

“I'll put this in the back and we can get going,” Bit said cheerfully. Jamie nodded and walked over to the passenger side door. He heard the back of the truck slam shut as he climbed into his seat. He was just fastening his seatbelt as Bit climbed into the truck and pulled his door shut. The blonde pilot started the truck and they were off. Almost as soon as they'd left the Toros Base, Bit switched on the radio and started to sing along with it. Jamie smiled weakly at his teammate's poor singing and laughed slightly. Bit grinned and gestured for Jamie to join in as well. The younger pilot shook his head a few times but after Bit continued to try and get him to join, he helped finish the song. They both started laughing when the song stopped and the DJ started talking about the news.

 

The laughing died down quickly and they spent the rest of the drive in relative silence. Bit was humming something as he drove and keeping watch ahead of him. Jamie looked over at the older pilot a few times, intent on starting a conversation about what had happened two weeks prior but couldn't find the right words. He ended up just staring out the window and watching the scenery as they passed by.

 

Soon they were driving along the bottom of the ravine. A few short moments later and they came to a stop inside a large crack in the stone, putting the truck out of the way incase someone else decided to drive through the ravine. Jamie got out of the truck and walked around to the back of it. When the boy looked around the ravine he was perplexed. There were no signs a battle had taken place in the area at all. There was no junk littering the ground, no scorch marks, no zoid tracks, or craters from missed attacks. Jamie continued to look around as he heard Bit coming up behind him.

 

“Ummm…Bit? Are you sure we're at the right place? I don't think we'll find anything around here,” he said. When he turned to his teammate, Bit swooped in and kissed him. It only lasted for a few seconds before Bit pulled back and grinned.

 

“I don't know about that. I think I found something,” he said. Before Jamie could respond, Bit had captured his lips again. One of Bit's arms snaked around Jamie's waist to pull him closer as the other moved to rub the boy's back gently. When Jamie's hands raised to rest on Bit's shoulders, the blonde slowly licked at Jamie's bottom lip. The boy opened his mouth slightly and Bit pushed his tongue inside.

The Reynos pilot nodded and pulled himself into the truck, closing the door behind him. Bit was taking his shoes off when Jamie reached the mattress. The black haired pilot started to kneel down, but Bit reached up and pulled him down onto him. He wrapped his arms around the smaller pilot and kissed him again. The blonde pilot grinned up at Jamie and the younger pilot laughed a little. Once the shoes were gone, the Liger pilot wasted no time getting rid of Jamie's shorts and underwear. Once the articles of clothing were tossed away, Bit was back on Jamie.
