i got a lot of ideas for this from the book Lightning, by dean koontz. throught one girl's life she has had a protector, a figure that appears from nowhere and saves her, then dissapears in a crack of thunder. now she seeks to understand the nature of this figure, be him angel or devil, and discover the nature of their shared curse
(it came out kinda confusing in the explinations at the end, but it's understandable if you think about it a bit. if not, mail me and i'll submit to a little Q&A)
