This fanfic takes place before Final Fantasy IV begins. I tried to get a good look into what Dark Knight Cecil feels before he goes to Mysidia to steal the Water Crystal. The idea kind of came from the instruction booklet when it said no one could understand the pain and suffering under his helmet. You can probably guess how depressing it's supposed to be.
