Duo comes back to see Heero after a bitter parting between them years ago to say a final good-bye, only Heero has other thoughts when he hears that Duo is dying. The result brings an old, strained friendship back to life, and rekindles the ash of a relationship that ended long ago with betrayal and pain. It is a deathfic, but while sad it has a hopeful ending.
