Two hundred years ago Sesshoumaru Younghusband entered an agreement with Yuki Higurashi. The contract stated that the higurashi's would care for his younger brother during the times of riot, in return Inuyasha must marry the next born female heir.
Three years pass and the higurashi influence wanes, a clan of exterminators advances on the neighborhood of protected youkai...Inuyasha, kidnapped from his bed hours before, survives.
Unable to claim anything now that Inuyasha's family is dead the kidnapper pushes Inuyasha through a small window over the basement of a bakery were he mets Kaede and Totosai, a youkai, human couple who takes him in a raises him.
having heard of the attack on the higurashi's Sesshoumaru flees london to find his brother only to be informed that the last of his family was killed. Returning to england he discovers that his fiance was hauled back to France by her father. Uterly alon Sesshoumaru dives into his studies.
Two hundred years later unexpected events bring them all back together. And they work the build a life they were robbed of. But a notice from the higurashi's declares that a female heir has been born, after two hundred years of waiting, and Inuyasha must marry her.
Unable to bear the thought Inuyasha flees Japan to travel the world in his last year of freedom and search for a palce to hide. Along the way he meets some freinds willing to help him and his only love Kikyou. But they will all find that the hands of fate pull the strings and they will dance like puppents into their waiting future.
