Decades, even centuries ago, vampires lived quietly among human beings. They watch their every movement from the darkness, leading unsuspecting children, men and women into their clutches. Sometimes those whom believed in such fictional characters wondered why they remained in hiding with powers like theirs. Of course, then no one realized these vampires' true intentions. True that many of those who lead a life among darkness chooses a path like that, but in the year 2012, it seemed that their time of hiding came to an end.
The predictions from the Mayan calendar did, indeed, come true, but not how most expected. Quietly as people sat at home next to warm fires, or sleeping peacefully on their beds, they were lurking among the living. Ridding of those who were unneeded.
