Kaoru goes through mental depression when his beloved chichioya suddenly dies. Not only that but not even a week after the funeral his hahaoya springs a marriage on him. Was she having an affair? Who is this new man? Was his chichioya's death and the timing of the marriage a coincidence? Will Kaoru be able to hold off his mental problems long enough to solve this mystery or will he need help?

Kaoru has forgotten something he needed to remember. He's forgotten lessons that were taught and never meant to be forgotten without a heavy price. His carelessness will be his undoing. Past horrors will show up to teach him that lessons of obedience are like your permanent record; they don’t go away with just a simple whip of the slate. With all these troubles he'll take sight of life’s true dirty secrets.
