It looks like it has been a while since you have updated this, so I am gonna kinda assume that it has been moved to a back burner. I really enjoy the elemental tie in with this piece. I like that you have Kagome as fire. While she does portray many of the attributes associated with water, I like the fire. Ayame from the northern mountains with her powers over nature is a good fit with earth. I like that you have gone with the more sensual earth mother rather than the crone/nurturer. Eww mental thought of Kaede with Kouga. I think I need mental floss. Anyway, you have done pretty well with the characterization of Inu and Sess, even Miro to a certain extent. Naraku is his normal bad evil self, and Kagura is the unwilling lackey. I hope that should you decide to update this at some point in the future you will add some of the characteristics of the element wind to her - such as psychic power, mutability, etc. I think that it was a funny that Sess wore a purple tie as purple is a color often associated with elemental wind in some mythos. Hmmm. Other fun things that I liked were Kagome pushing Kikyou into the fountain. I did have to snicker a little at that. I think that this story has a lot of potential for character growth and development of a great storyline. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Love it! Great style! I've read a TON of Inuyasha fan fics and this is by far one of the better ones as far as creativity goes. I love it! Keep writing!

Wow! This is one of the most awsome alternate universe fanfics I have ever read.I like the way you skillfully combine many aspects of the original manga, with a new plot and concept. The humer in this story is subtle and refreshing, combined with accurate youkai and youki differences and managing to not make the concept of magical girls stupid, this fic makes for excellent reading . I have just been reading this fic at the suggestion of a friend, and I was far from disappointed. I love the AU that you have come up with, and that it is both completely actualized and richly constructed suggest an eye for detail of a skill level not often found in mere fanfics. I am pleased to find an AU where Kagome is the ancient, experienced one with past pain, rather than InuYasha - in a way, she has been metaphorically pinned to a tree inside the housing, and he frees her, which adds an interesting twist to the story. I love some of the humor - ESPECIALLY Ayame kissing Koga and Kagura's reaction to Sesshomaru - when I read both of these passages, I laughed so much that I had to stop to catch my breath. And I don't think that the romance is moving too fast - everything makes sense, and you can blame some of the intense attraction on the nature of an elemental - Kagome is sexy, beautiful, and she needs InuYasha to keep on existing. I can't think of any better reasons to become romantically involved. Please pardon the incredible length of this review - I believe in leaving quality feedback for every fanfic that I read and enjoy. Some writers like it, and some writers don't - I, personally, would be happy if people took a lot of time reviewing my work. I, like you, do not update my fic very often - although you can feel free to check it out if you like. I am often very busy, but now that summer is starting, I have more time to write, read, and REVIEW, which I certainly promise to do for this fic, if you update. Thank you very much for your good work. Please keep it up and write more for this fic soon! I can't wait to find out all about Ayame - she is one of my favorite characters in this AU, and she hasn't even said a dozen words yet! ^_^

Wow, that was great. Hope you can come up with a new chapter soon cause I really want to read it. I know that Inuyasha and Kagome are going to fall in love so you better make it an x-rated. LOL!!! Just hope to read it very soon cause that was a good chapter.
