Please update soon I've been following this story since my junior year in high school... maybe even sophomore and I have since graduated and am now well into college so that's just to let you know how long some of us have been patiently following you like love-sick puppies waiting for a treat! Anyway... I don't want to sound demanding I just really want to know how this story ends... happily I hope of course.

I really enjoyed reading this story. It draws me into their world so wonderfully. The characters retain their depth and complexity, and you did an admirable job tweaking the events of the anime to fit into your own personal story. I do hope you decide to pick it back up and finish it soon. It would be well worth it.

Aa mou!!! The angst is killing me! Enishi is the perfect vindictive villain; I'm sure he's even happier now that he's gotten to torture Kaoru with more truth right in front of Kenshin. So, what happens to Kamiya Kaoru-sama now? Update soon!!!

This story is in my Favorites! I love how Kenshin is so focused on saving Kaoru, but now I'm also a bit scared... I hope I'm not being a spoiler, but could it be that Kaoru somehow escapes Enishi, or he lets her go, and she rushes to Shishio's room to stop Battousai from killing Shishio? Though I have a feeling I'm wrong, and I'll be pleasantly surprised with reading the next chapter, for which I am eagerly awaiting...
