Wow, where do I start? First, this story completely took me by surprise, but in a very good way. It's very different from your usual works, and that in itself demonstrates a previously unseen versatility. The work itself is intense yet impressively touching and poignant. I have to say, I was absolutely shocked with the ending, and I think it's brilliant how clues were strewn all across the story and became obvious upon a second reading, but because of their sheer ambiguity they worked to mislead the reader and give off a whole other impression-- I'm not saying it's deceitful, I thought it was amazing in how subtle it was, and how well you pulled it off. The mood is uncharacteristically dark and gloomy, but it works nicely, and I have to admit, I kind of got choked up at little there in the end. It was so different from the usual happy endings, but I found out that I like tragic as much as I like happy and romantic, go figure. I'm really glad you shared this, it's great on so many levels. Now, more than ever, I'm looking forward to more of your writing. Keep them coming (please)!

This really is a departure from your typical story. Very surprising, and sad. Poor G, poor MT. Some things aren't meant to be.... Nice job, but now I'm depressed!

Wonderfully sad... I thought he was gonna leave his wife...! In a way he did end up leaving her...but in such a shocking manner! Wow... to have loved and lost... Realizing too late what could have been... Starcrossed...definitely starcrossed....
