I have been reading this straight through and am up to Ch 24 right now, but I just wanted to stop and let you know how much I am enjoying this. The humans rediscovering their heritage and pasts, Inu's introduction to the modern world, and Sess's warmness toward his brother have all been a lot of fun. Why did I decide to write now? Caleb. Well, I thought I'd leave you a review. I love how your descriptions are getting better and better. They're getting me the detail I need, but not going too much overboard. That's great to see. I love how Selene has had a difficult time fully believing what has been told to her, yet has had some memories herself that she can't deny. It shows a good realism to her situation and her character, because so many other stories that might have a reincarnation of a character tend to have them assume their past life as if nothing happened. Selene hasn't done that here, and that's good. And I love how she is grateful to not be the one talking to Seth. And I love that Michael is there to comfort her, even though he's in the same situation in so many ways. And I love his definition for "fine." That's funny. Awww and the bad guys had to interrupt them. Oh well. And Miranda, I think she's figuring out that Koga isn't the guy she thought he was, but is finding herself rather stuck. I think her character has put herself in quite the predicament. I love the fleeing scene. Inuyasha is so cunning and you've brought that out here. Everyone seems to think he's not all that bright, but he has to be to live as long as he has. It's nice to see that, and for Kagome to realize what he's really up to. The description here is really strong, too! Oh dear. I think Koga's in even more trouble for that set up! I don't think he's going to have a very good Tuesday. This last chapter you have posted was wonderfully done. I love the thoughtful descriptions that have been placed in it, and we can really see/feel what the characters are. Kagura is so beautiful here, and I loved the descriptions of her use of her powers. I also love how Kagome and Inuyasha's arrival came off the page. I am hoping, though, you won't let our dear Demon Lord succumb to his illness!! I want to know what IT is and HOW it'll get fixed, though it seems Kagome and the jewel will have something to do with it. She's already getting a sense that someone is ill, but I'm not sure when we'll find that out. And it seems that Koga alliance has fallen apart. I do look forward to the next chapter, and keep improving that description!

Honestly, I'm really interested in the premise and enjoyed watching Inuyasha adapt to modern life. I also especially enjoy his interaction with Sesshoumaru. What's driving me absolutely nuts, though, to the point where it's completely distracting is the copious misuse of Japanese. I was willing to overlook things like Inuyasha's use of "hai" (even though this is just a word that he doesn't touch in the series-- a more appropriate word would be something like "Aa" which is what he does use as it is much more masculine), but as soon as he started using "koi" as an endearment to Kagome I had to quit reading. I'm sorry, I can't handle it anymore. You write well! Your plot is so fun, too. The characterization is also pretty good so I'm particularly bummed that I can't handle reading any more of this because of the one detail but from the standpoint of one who speaks Japanese it's so very distracting. It's like an English speaker trying to immerse himself in a story that uses broken English-- it's too awkward to handle. What I was able to enjoy was wonderful; please keep writing and take care.

Wow. I would like to point out I read this fic for a total of about five hours. It is awesome. I really didn't want to leave when I had too but I finally finished. I haven't read another one like this and I must say it is one of my favorites. The entire plot is entirely believeable and your character development is one of a kind. You stay on track with the story and don't seem to branch off and have many filler chapters, despite the length of the story. I would like to give my thanks to you for sharing this tale with everyone else (Wow, what happened to me! I'm actually sounding like a professional, almost) I can see nothing wrong with the grammar and you don't make most mistakes that beginning writers do, (no offense, I could be considered one) even though it is your first fanfic. You keep everyone in character most of the time and yet for those times you don't, It is understandable with the part in the story. You seem to have taken someone else's characters and added your own personal touch to them. Squeet. Too fancy, no? Must do something random now. Eh? *holds up giant bag of cookies* Update soon and this glorious bag of goodness shall be all yours, if not, they shall remain mine, yes my precious', all mine. *hugs cookies* LoL. Much better. This story is awesome! It's original, creative, it keeps you on the edge of your seat, I gotta know what happens next! And can someone PLEASE knock Kouga out? He's really starting to annoy me, talk about PSYCHO. Anywho, update soon please!

I started reading this story months ago but lost track. I'm happy I picked it up again even though I had to re-read a few chapters to remember the story line. Wow, so much going on, these people got drama and you're doing such a good job of weaving us into it. The last chapter had me on the edge like I was watching a movie. Update a.s.a.p please.

I've been meaning to read this story for quite some time, and I finally did it. You might want to duck and cover, because my readers might be vexed that I didn't spend my time working on MY story. I saw it in the update list and started to read it and then had to continue until there was no more. I really love how you've brought poor Inuyasha into the thrust of the modern world. And Sesshomaru? I'm not sure what to make of sympathetic/compassionate Sesshomaru. He's got it in him, that's for sure, but boy would I LOVE to have the gaps from when he tries to provoke Inuyasha out of the tree to the point we see him FINALLY find Inuyasha back. We've had glimpses into that growth he's had, but damn, I'd love to see just what happened. He's got this tender streak now, especially when it comes to his brother(ie the scene on the plane, the scene when Inuyasha was poisoned and came close to death) that I just have to really wonder WHEN and HOW did he get that in him? The Great Demon Lord shed tears over his brother? Shed tears at ALL? I must admit though, I love the way he gets irritated and flustered. You think he'd remember that Inuyasha's rough and wild so it shouldn't surprise him in the least, yet it seems since he had 500 years between the last time he saw him that he just has to get used to it all over again. I mean, after all, he has to remember that Inuyasha raised HIMSELF, so yeah, he's not going to be refined. Though my jaw did drop the way Old Sesshomaru came back out and sliced that driver's head off. At least he still has it in him! I love that he's taken the surname of Mister Dog. It makes me giggle. I kind of like the name Seth, no matter what others might say. It seems to fit. Sess, Seth, it has a familiar sound to it. Caleb for Inuyasha works, too. The meaning of bold is certainly fitting, indeed. Now for the reincarnations. . .I love Michael. He seems so much like Miroku, yet he has his own quirks and mannerisms that make him in character yet different. It would have been a different story if they had been carbon copies to the letter of their past lives. Kagome is not just like Kikyo in the series, so it would suffice that Miroku and Sango's reincarnates would have slight differences here and there. I like that Michael went into psychology and that Selene's a police detective. It seems to work. I'm wondering just who Kagome's mother might be, is she a reincarnate of some sort, or just filling the role of the old Kagome's grandfather and mother rolled into one? And Shippo? He's gonna fall on his butt when he sees Inuyasha again, or he might just scream at him for pushing him away like that, one or the other. After all, the kit's not a kit anymore. He's a grandpa for cripe's sake! I do hope that, now that the gang is in America, that we get to see a Thanksgiving/Christmas with the entire family, that'd be...interesting. Now for Koga. . .can someone please find some way to tell him he's being Naraku all over again and this time GET THROUGH to him on it? Koga's not a bad guy, at least not really. He's not exactly a good guy, either, but right now he's gone completely psycho. And is he nuts? Sesshomaru, even by being older, and with one arm, can kick his ass any day of the week with his damn eyes closed. Gun or no gun, though that was a nice touch to have him fire that weapon. And Koga's nuts if he thinks he can eliminate Inuyasha. He may be human right now, but we all know that Inuyasha gets his strength from Kagome and she's right there again. He gets foolish enough to attack Kagome, he'll be the new rug on the floor to replace Sesshomaru's fave rug that the puppy piddled on. And I do like the idea of Sesshomaru and Kagura together in this one, though I'm much more of a Sess/Rin fan. It works here,though I do hope he gets Rin's reincarnate back. At least to provide him with his entire family again. And I'm glad Ginta's not totally insane to follow Mister Insane-O Wolf. Go him! I'll be waiting to see what happens next!
