I was pleasantly suprised to find that the one Warhammer 40k fic would be so good. Normally, obscure universe fics are of wanting quality, but you have broken that mold. The only thing I would suggest is that you give the story more gravity in terms of plot motivation. You started strong with the whole sacrifice thing and did a respectable amount of set up for your caracters, but I found the ending unsatifying. I wanted something bigger, to tie the caracter lines back together, but it never came. That's what held you back. Anyways, this is an overall good fic with obscure referance. This may only apeal to a couple hundred users, but they will not find their universe misrepresented. Good luck on future projects.
