this was really intense and i LOURVED it! i'm so glad Sessy had Kagura, at the time...little man needed compassion that i wasn't so sure he'd get with Seesy, alone. i LOURVE li'l Cain!

wow...that was beautifully written but so sad. that was Griffin that told zelig to run wasnt it?? im readinf purity 7 right now and i was told to read this one cuz it connects especially after reading ur latest chapter. now i know where zelig remembers griffin! i LOVE ur work!! keep up the wonderful work!

Whoa, I mean like wow..This was very sad I cried, I feel so sorry for Cain. It just turned out so wrong for Sebastain, losing his mate, and unborn child, and then losing his happy son and him changing all serious way before his time, but atleast he died a honorable death, but he did his best...This was a good and very very very very deep one shot, you are great and i love all your work.... I have one question though, how come Cain and his father have different last names? But keep up the good work and i hope you continue writting!! :)

I just had to say, as my title indicates, I thought this was beautifully written. Not only was it thought-provoking, wonderfully tragic and yet heart-warming at the same time, and well written, but it also captured the love a father has for his child and the lengths he will go to to see that his child is safe and free from harm, whether in the Inu-Universe or in our own. It fits perfectly into the Purity series, and though this is a short story, fitting into the confines of what one would consider a "one-shot," as always, your characters are well-defined, almost leaping off the computer screen and into one's heart. The sincerity and emotion in the story literally brought me to tears. I applaud you.

WOW!! I so was about to start crying at the end!!! That was an amazing piece of work, you should be very proud. It's great to see how Cain's parents passed on, and how he had become the man he is. beautifully written, i'll have you know that it made me cry three times and now my eyes are all piggy and red, and my nose is all stuffed up it's amazing the life you breath into characters and places. i've read very few books that can do what you do. as always you have written another story that has not failed to touch my heart

It' never ceases to amaze me how you bring your characters to life and for a brief moment while I'm reading your work I am carried away to another place and another time where my emotions no longer belong to me but are caught up in the whirlwind of fantasy that you create causeing me to laugh or cry as was the case for this story. Sebastian is so strong, and the brief glances we get to see of his realtionship with Daniella are beautiful. His powere is tangible, as is his grief and his resolve for getting Zelig to a place where he can be nurtured to become the Tai Youkai that we all fall in love with. Thank you for writing this tale :-) Thank you for giving us Sebastian and Daniella and for showing us where the more somber aspect of Cain's personality comes from. Brava!

I like that you gave us some insight into Cain's background. It was so sad but at the same time I already know what was to come of these to parents/lovers/soulmates. I loved this story, Sue. A wonderful look back on Cain's childhood, and a very sad one at that. And while I felt bad for Cain, I really felt bad for Sebastian for all that he went through. But I was glad when he finally got to join his mate in the afterlife after suffering for so long without her. Anyway, enough of my babbling. XD All in all, I really enjoyed this story and I'm glad you shared it with us. ^_^

Sorry, i just had to review this separately. I cried, it was really touching...it kind of explains a lot about the way he is...and the his stubbornness in Justification about accepting Gin. But i don't understand how in your fics youkai can live on for centuries and not arouse human suspicion...especially influential ones like tai-youkais. I mean...Cain is a well known artist and Sesshoumaru is a business magnet (?)...but you get the point...how can "people" like this change their name and identity but go unrecognized..by the rest of the human population....it might seem like a stupid question but it has been bugging me for a while now....anyways...i really enjoyed Revolution, it was sad but explained a lot. Bravo! What a beautiful story! Just beautiful writing at its best! I love the ending so much and was truly touched to read what truly happens to a mate when one dies. Sure, we've all read what will happen when they die, but to read it in detail was captivating. It felt like you were there along side Sesshoumaru watching the lovers go into the next realm together.
