Reviewed By: half cat demon kagome [MediaMiner Member] On: April 18, 2007 18:58 CDT Comment/Review: Whoa, I mean like wow..This was very sad I cried, I feel so sorry for Cain. It just turned out so wrong for Sebastain, losing his mate, and unborn child, and then losing his happy son and him changing all serious way before his time, but atleast he died a honorable death, but he did his best...This was a good and very very very very deep one shot, you are great and i love all your work.... I have one question though, how come Cain and his father have different last names? But keep up the good work and i hope you continue writting!! :)

Just a little bit longer was too long for a changed destiny. A sibling for Zelig would have probably chanced their entire outlook. Keep up the good work, dark

Title: Beautifully Written Reviewed By: Miseria [MediaMiner Member] On: August 03, 2006 20:54 CDT Rating(s):Style of Writing: 10 of 10 Spelling & Grammar: 9 of 10 Originality/Creativity: 10 of 10 Enjoyment Factor: 10 of 10 Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: I just had to say, as my title indicates, I thought this was beautifully written. Not only was it thought-provoking, wonderfully tragic and yet heart-warming at the same time, and well written, but it also captured the love a father has for his child and the lengths he will go to to see that his child is safe and free from harm, whether in the Inu-Universe or in our own. It fits perfectly into the Purity series, and though this is a short story, fitting into the confines of what one would consider a "one-shot," as always, your characters are well-defined, almost leaping off the computer screen and into one's heart. The sincerity and emotion in the story literally brought me to tears. I applaud you.

It's great to see how Cain's parents passed on, and how he had become the man he is. Again, great work. And sorry it took me so long to get a chance to read it, I wish I would have been able to do so when you posted it.

Reviewed By: futekioosha [MediaMiner Member] On: May 12, 2006 23:34 CDT Comment/Review: It' never ceases to amaze me how you bring your characters to life and for a brief moment while I'm reading your work I am carried away to another place and another time where my emotions no longer belong to me but are caught up in the whirlwind of fantasy that you create causeing me to laugh or cry as was the case for this story. Sebastian is so strong, and the brief glances we get to see of his realtionship with Daniella are beautiful. His powere is tangible, as is his grief and his resolve for getting Zelig to a place where he can be nurtured to become the Tai Youkai that we all fall in love with. Thank you for writing this tale :-) Thank you for giving us Sebastian and Daniella and for showing us where the more somber aspect of Cain's personality comes from. Brava!

It was so sad but at the same time I already know what was to come of these to parents/lovers/soulmates. Everytime I think you've reached your peak at your writing (never in a bad way lol) you show me that a true author excels always. Wonderful job. ~Usagi

A wonderful look back on Cain's childhood, and a very sad one at that. And while I felt bad for Cain, I really felt bad for Sebastian for all that he went through. But I was glad when he finally got to join his mate in the afterlife after suffering for so long without her. Anyway, enough of my babbling. XD All in all, I really enjoyed this story and I'm glad you shared it with us. ^_^

That was very sad, but very well written, which doesn't surprise me in the least. I especially loved the very end, when Sesshomaru was watching Sebastian. Very nice. Thanks for sharing this with us. ^_^

Reviewed By: nish04 [MediaMiner Member] On: May 09, 2006 22:01 CDT Comment/Review: Sorry, i just had to review this separately. I cried, it was really touching...it kind of explains a lot about the way he is...and the his stubbornness in Justification about accepting Gin. But i don't understand how in your fics youkai can live on for centuries and not arouse human suspicion...especially influential ones like tai-youkais. I mean...Cain is a well known artist and Sesshoumaru is a business magnet (?)...but you get the point...how can "people" like this change their name and identity but go unrecognized..by the rest of the human population....it might seem like a stupid question but it has been bugging me for a while now....anyways...i really enjoyed Revolution, it was sad but explained a lot. Thank you for allowing us to read it. ~ Nish

But this one seemed to need my presence. *Grins at his confidence* I think I now understand why the man we know to be Cain Zelig thought that it was necessary to folloy Isabelle into death. Thank you for the clarification. Thank you for never giving up. Most of all, thank yourself for not giving up. It takes a strong woman to endure what you have experienced.

What a beautiful story! Just beautiful writing at its best! I love the ending so much and was truly touched to read what truly happens to a mate when one dies. Sure, we've all read what will happen when they die, but to read it in detail was captivating. It felt like you were there along side Sesshoumaru watching the lovers go into the next realm together. Thank you so much!

I've been reading your fics since the very beginning, but I've never sent a review before. Forgive me. I just tought that there were so many reviews that you wouldn't miss little me. So I think I must thank you for your gentelness when you post the stories. You made many of my days happier. I smile, I cry, I laugh and I jump with joy when a new chapter comes. I've never liked fics with original characters before, but I think yours amazing. When you finish some Purity story I find myself empty, but soon you post another one and I'm imprisioned again. I love your stories!!!! Thank you for all of them. A big warm hug from Brazil, my friend. Lere
