Okay, I love your work. I deeply, completely respect it. But, when don't update for, now, close to 8 months, this equals PAIN! Seriously, good works like this rarely ever come up, why haven't you updated? *sigh* If it's real life worries, explain it and at least give a partial chapter that you update. I've also friended you on FF.net, and said pretty much the same thing. I do love your work, but this long without an update? The only reasons could be that you've gotten out of writing fanfics, you've had some serious shit hit the fan in life, or you haven't touched your keyboard for fun in months. So, please update, will ya? Your work really is amazing (especially with your high quality of writing, and brilliant characterizations, I love both). So, please update? Ja ne.

An unsual story, i liked it not only for its unusual pairing but the way in which you managed t make it believeable and i also loveit that you don't rush into it like so many authors or yaoi filcks, you also managed to add the feeling of the two character's personalities inside the filck. My only regret is that i didnt see this story earlier and ask whenever you post it on other sites! thank you!

I like this! This is my first Ita/Shika story, but you are selling it so far for me. I do wonder what happened to Sakura coming to help Shika feel better though? You haven't said why that hasn't happened when she'd planned to do so. I know she'd last been looking for him, but why haven't she been able to find him once in 3 months? Are you going to bring Naruto back any time soon? As for your question about Itachi, I don't really think you have him out of character, because the simple fact is we really don't know anything about his character besides the obvious stuff; he's powerful, a genius, and maybe evil. He also may be a tad touched (insane), but we don't really know. We can't say he hated his clan, because we haven't really been told why he killed them - backed to that a bit touched thing again - but once again we don't know. He's very similar to Sesshoumaru in InuYasha. You know they're strog, powerful, very smart and not very nice, but beyond that we don't know anything about why they are how they are since I don't believe either were born mean and complicated. So, I think, as long as you don't make Itachi out to be TOO sane (since obviously he has issues he need to lie on a couch and talk about - as does Sasuke) and TOO nice I don't think you'll make his character OOC because we don't know too much about his character. I think Itachi is a character that is very hard to keep in-character becuase of all his unknowns, but this is also why I find him very easy to write - as long as the author doesn't dream him into being the sweet and perfect boyfriend material or try to change him into that. He isn't and never will be those things. His perfection is his greatest flaw and he knows it. The fact he IS aware of this knowledge about himself is what makes him complicated. His reasons for his past actions is all speculation by fans of the manga/anime, but that's just my opinion. I have no problem believing that he may have just snapped one day and decided to kill his entire clan. The fact that he didn't kill Sasuke (and his words to him) proves there was a method to his madness. I think you're doing very well with him so far. Keep up the good work and UPDATE SOON!! ~Duchess

This is a pretty well written fic that makes its evidence on the way. My thought is that Shikamaru would not take as much contempt as Naruto without exploding or defecting. Keep it up. The last chapter was a bit off though from the rest.

YAY!! I'm soo happy! I know you've been busy,, with life and all the things that come with it, so thanks for posting!! =D I wanted to review on Fanfiction . net but it's being stupid so count this one as one on there also alright! ^^ I loved how Itachi blushed because of the cuddly Shika-chan!! And I felt like killing Shika's mother when he replayed what happened when he was retrieving his mission... Yay for Kisame/Itachi friendship, it makes lots of sense... I think I had more to say, but since it's been a while since I actually read the fic, and my memory isn't that great, I can't really remember what else I wanted to write. Sorry.

COOL! Please continue to update, this story os cause for both a little bit of hope, and some more than faint amusement. So basically, Itachi/Shikamaru is HOT!!! On the other hand, Itachi/Shikamaru/Naruto is AWESOMELY HOT!!! Heh, the pervy side of my brain. Anyway, I'm gonna get started on my own fanfic soon (probably tonight instead of WoW) and then I can get my shit criticized like fuck. Whatever. Okay, please continue ot update this story, it amuses me greatly, okay? Later

That. Was. WONDERFUL!!! I would've cried if I hadn't already built up an immunity to crying at things like this. That or I'm just too tired, one or the other, probably both. This story is original to the last degree (for fan fiction, anyway). Take your time with the next chapter, it's worth the wait. Este es vale la pena.

This is so original and I think they ar very IC.This is amazing and I'm very excited that I found it.I hope you update alot cause so many good fics could be great,if they where worked on.Itachi's training is facinating,of course they could relate.I see some Sasuke bashing but in this story I don't care.Leaf is never kind or fair to its own.Its a miracal they have the loyalty they do.Probably its the beauty of the place that captures their hearts.Please update soon.I shall check every day and give better reveiws but I'm running on empty right now.Kinda like shika.Love this.Thank you and good luck.I hope things heat up between the guys soon.Sorry for sucky spelling!

I actually really enjoyed reading this little fic. I do wish you'd continue it, as it is fairly well written, and the story is fairly amusing, and serious too. The characterizations are pretty good, Itachi and Shikamaru are very well done, though everyone's reactions to Shika's failure is a little off, though storyline motivated. Still, I enjoyed rading this, and hope you will continue to write this little tale. It is quite good.

I never really thought about this pairing before but you made it good! I really do like this story and i would be, literally, squalling and bouncing with delight if you somehow continued it. You made this story so enjoyable to read and i found myself at the very end so soon!Your stories are really great, so please keep going!
