Once again I totally agree with sglily... however she wrote everything I was going to write... but how dare you leave it with a cliffhanger... you're just as bad a sglily... but at least you update more than once a millennia... ^^; also I do hope you post more of your fanfiction... however I will only read the Bakura x Ryou fanfic's... so please tell me you have more... please!!! I'll be waiting for the next chapter... and if you take too long I shall hunt you down and... and... so something really really bad... I don't know what yet... but it'll be BAD!!

Another great chapter! I really love how you have captured Bakura's blend of nasty, middle finger saluting callousness with his own unique way of showing compassion - well, for him, that would equate to anything that might resemble feelings, I suppose! Bakura is not one to bare his heart and soul, is he? He'd have to admit he as one of each! ; ) Regardless, I loved the interaction between light and dark. From both points of view at the beginning of the chapter, we as readers got a taste of what each character was feeling in regards to the situation. The sudden dashing of hope that Ryou felt when he was being pushed away (both physically and emotionally) from Bakura was heart wrenching - especially when he was left to think that that night meant nothing to Bakura. Funny that Bakura thought Ryou clueless as to why the dark one had done what he had to Ryou as far as binding the young one up and taking pleausre in his body, then leaving, and yet, the physical evidence was laid out before him, how Ryou was looking so thin, haggard, and worn down. Bakura was just as clueless as to how his actions had affected his light. Perhaps the misunderstandings between the two are now cleared up? I look forward to the next installment to find out! A few other things... first off, TJ (who reviewed before me) loves to exaggerate... doesn't update for years! Bah! I'm surprised she was yelling about the cliffhanger YOU left us with! Ha ha ha! As far as other stories you have written, I'd personally love to read them! Especially if those stories would be about Ryou and Bakura... you have some more of them, right, right, right??? ; )

I am honored and humbled! Dedication accepted with blushes and all... In all seriousness, this story is evolving well. To me, the best part of the newest chapter was Bakura brooding about why he couldn't go back to Ryou. The trouble that he would cause Ryou if his light loved another... the admission that Bakura might even kill his light for loving another was very profound and very Bakura-like in my estimation. I am a sucker for the reminiscing scenes... the fact that Bakura is still hung up on that "vague nod" of Ryou's when his light gave the green light for Bakura to take him says a lot. The dark one has doubts as to his own take on the situation and yet doesn't want to give himself hope that Ryou might feel something for him. Very interesting... and naturally, I am anxious to see how Ryou reacts once he finds out who has rescued him... And, what a setup! They are alone, in the midst of a sandstorm, in a cave of wonders...

I read the first chapter and it was one of the best RYou x Bakura fics that have come out in a long time! a long, long time! Excellent work!

Poor Ryou. Bakura still does care he just can't understand that Ryou cares for him as well. I'm glad he found him and will keep him safe for the night. Great story.

The tension builds! Heh, very well done. I like how you captured both Ryou and Bakura's personalities. You make them believable, and I can easily sympathize, enough so that I want to strangle Bakura. As I've said before, this is a pleasure to read, and I can't come up with enough nice things to say about it, hence the shortness of the review.(Though if you want to get technical you could also blame it on my lack of creativity at the moment, but lets not split hairs) Anyway, I love the fic, and I eagerly await the next chapter.

This story was recommended to me by my good friend, Saiyamaru, who is also a sucker for a well written story centered on Ryou and Bakura. The first chapter was very compelling. So typical of Bakura to get it in his crazy head that Ryou wouldn't want him but the dark one just had to have his light anyway. Interesting the measures he took, blindfold, gag, Ryou secured to the bed naked by wrists and ankles, and the mind-link the two share shutdown. Ryou's confusion at the situation he found himself in coupled with the relief it had been Bakura who had strapped him down and then proceeded to help himself to Ryou's body was well done. That Bakura asked permission to have Ryou was pivitol. Bakura hacking off his hair and scarring himself to rid him of most of his resemblence to Ryou was another highlight of the chapter and further set the mood for Bakura's line of reasoning for his actions. In the second part, you managed to capture both Ryou and Bakura at their lowest point, falling apart without the other in their lives - Ryou fading away and Bakura becoming even more surly. I look forward to the reunion! I'm sure it is going to be a shocker to The Dark One that Ryou hunted him down... Nice job!

MM.org ate my Review! I like this fic enough to write another one, but I don't have the patience to make it as long as the first. I really enjoyed reading this, it was a great read, and the whole story tickled me because I have an obnoxious plot bunny similar to this fic, but with Ryou doing the tying, sexing, then leaving bit.
