This is an excellent possible background for Sesshoumaru's behavior. The perpetrators look perfectly normal to the outsider. Besides, who could challenge Sesshoumaru's father? The one thing that stood out was Sesshoumaru's dead eyes. I have a difficult time understanding his ability to show anger. Anger usually requires that one really care about something. Avoidance in comforting numbness wouldn't allow even anger. The behaviors ingrained in a person are difficult and sometimes impossible to change. Rin must have really been a big help to Sesshoumaru in finally facing his past. She had lost the ability to speak as he had lost the ability to feel. I think that, in the end, Sesshoumaru made the right and healthy choice, even though it was hard to do. I feel a little sorry for Inuyasha. He didn't understand what he'd gotten into or how to properly deal with it. I hope things turn out okay for him because I can't ever see Kagome as anything other than second best after Inuyasha claimed that there was no question about his feelings concerning Sesshoumaru. Then again, he could just be confused because of his age. What a mess. It would be nice if those two could get together, permanently, in the future. Excellent story. |

Fantastic story. I'm not really into inucest but I found that the best stories are written based on it. I honestly skipped the inucest scenes. I really enjoyed the plot and would love to see more of your work. This story deserved so many more reviews. However, people are lazy so don't be offended.

I loved this! It had angst, fluff, and an ending that was happy, yet sad at the same time. It also kind of helps explain Sesshoumaru, ne? I give you 5 stars a high five on a perfect fic!

Sniffles. So sad and heartbreaking, but hey there was some hotness in there too. I'm glad that Inuyasha and Sesshy were able to become closer as brothers and friends and hopefully in my little dream world that's how they'll stay.

Well here I am again. Like I said not much of a fan of Yaoi but since it's you I'll give Supression a shot. :) But as for the plot-line I cannot speak for the other people on this great website but I am all for this fanfic. I normally do not read stories of sexual abuse. be it from past experiences, be it from what we see every day life. the story is done very well. Sesshomaru is actually a good canidite to be abused. this world is ugly, but there are ways to heal. and the story seems to try to convey that. I like how the brothers are coming together. This seems like that's what they would do.
