You always wonder how things affect a person later in the future. Sometimes, the adventures continue, and makes it hard to forget the past. In Yuli's case, he seemed to have forgotten what he learned from the war with Talpa after over a decade of 'normal' life. Sometimes, a little recollection like this could always help.
