The way at times I caught myself thinking I WAS Hikaru while other times I felt completely removed from the scene. I also especially liked how you didn't give away it was Toya for a while...I only caught on when you made the comment about garbage b/c up until that point I thought it was about Sai, but then it wouldn't make sense b/c Hikaru had been living with his parents when Sai disappeared. Also liked the mention of poetry and how moving it is. Really strong writing. Good Job.
