OMG - that little tape is so going to come back and bite him in the ass! I can't wait! I was glad to see an update, and I can't wait for the next one. I thought for sure Rini was going to connect some dots with Kurama handing out flowers, what with the way Yukina described Yusuke's screw up. That one seems like it's going to come back and haunt Yukina... I can't wait for some more interaction with Hiei and Kagome, and Hiei and Kagome and Yusuke. Update soon!

Oh, YAY! I was so very happy to see a new chapter for this up!! I've been missing it. Nice bit of sisterly interaction with Kagome and Sango. Though I do imagine Jakotsu would have livened up their girls' day out. (And fit right in. ^_~) Nice little bit of info on Yusuke and Keiko's daughter's personality. Can't wait to see how Yukina's talk with her turns out. Heh heh! Poor Yusuke. If he only knew that he could probably patch everything up if he could just go see Keiko. But he's stuck at home all banged up and bruised and broken. Yeah, I'm feeling real sorry for him. ^_^ Kikyou and Inuyasha. What to say, what to say? I am really starting to hope that Inu and Kik run into a LOT of different people at Sesshoumaru's party. Kagura, Sesshoumaru, Youko, and ... Hiei and Kagome. That's right. I said it. And I am wondering if our two miscreant losers will find out about what happened with Kagome and Yusuke? And what would Inu think? What would those jerks maybe SAY? How big a beating would Hiei give Inu? *starry-eyed* LOL!! Loved the mention of Kurama's work and Jakotsu's family's influence to be able to get them out of trouble if need be. Love Hiei's steady, unwavering declarations that he's not leaving Kagome. I'm still wondering who else is going to see that tape? This was so awesome! I hated to come to the end of the chapter. You're still doing such a masterful job of weaving a HUGE cast of characters into one big story, with lots of little sub-stories. Awesomely awesome!! (I was so sad at the revelation that Kagome doesn't buy sexy clothing to wear for Hiei. Poor little guy. ^_~)

I was reading this latest chapter again, and checked to see what I had said about it, and ... no review from me. I thought I'd already reviewed this, -- sorry! REALLY sorry, -- because it was simply BRILLIANT, and I loved it! The way you obliquely referred to the characters' canon situations just slew me, -- it was so wickedly clever. But I have to go through this in the order of my notes. Oh, Jakotsu and his enthusiasm, -- how I love him! I could just SEE him there at the bottom of the stairs, waving excitedly and yelling for Kags to get down there. And Sango's thoughts about him were great. "Jakotsu thought a lot of things were cute, but most of them she was not interested in knowing about." LOL! I love it that she admitted to herself that she enjoyed a lot of things that Jakotsu said, -- amen, sister! And it was a nice sisterly little scene you had between her and Kags. The little tidbit about Kagome pretending to be asleep like she did when they were little was a nice touch. And her sincere wish for Kagome to be happy, and to see that Hiei is not like Inu and would never hurt her like he did, came across as a very real desire one would have for one's sister. I enjoyed Hiei's thoughts about his deceased friend Kuwabara having something to do with him stumbling across the cat. It cracked me up that Sango had to be the one to check to see if it was a boy or girl. No more Buyos, thank goodness. Four is enough! LOL! I loved the way you tied in the name Kag gave the kitty to Hiei's thoughts about HER. "no woman could take the piece of him that she held so tightly in her grasp ... she was a single shining light, no one would ever compare to her." Watch your step: that's me -- that big puddle of goo on the floor. Moving on to Inuyasha, I was so struck by how immature he is, and how he seems to believe everyone owes him something. He was ranting about all the stuff and praise that Sess got, but at the same time, he was revealing just how hard Sess had worked to EARN those things. His father might have sent him to the best schools, but he worked to get those grades. And Inu couldn't even kick his butt, because of all the martial arts classes Sess had taken. LOL! His values are SO twisted, too. He was feeling superior to Sess, because he "gets sex almost every time he asks for it," while Sess is raising a little girl he adopted. That boy needs to take a reality pill and grow up! And when you threw out that he had inherited his father's prized convertible, Tetsusaiga, I just about died laughing! The there was Tsubaki, -- who looks younger than she actually is. ROFL!!! Sheer genius. I was just in awe of that fabulously-inspired touch. Finally, we come to Youko, who is solving two mysteries at the same time, and will be 'like a ghost.' *sigh* It just doesn't get any better than that. Unless you count the fact that he was pondering the possibility that Kikyou might be a common whore. And her eagerness to get her 'claws and fangs' into him. LOL!! I have every confidence that our intrepid sleuth will unravel the mystery of who she is cheating on and why. I wonder, though, will the murder case he is working on have repercussions for any of the other characters? This was thoroughly enjoyable, and I tip my hat to your sharp mind and wit.

Wow! We are SO in sync, - I just posted my new chapter today, too, and I was thinking about this fic. So, yay! I love, love, love the way you're writing Kurama! So sneaky and sly. You're just killing me with all the great oblique references to their non-human origins. Kurama's game of seduction to win a treasure, a woman he was willing to try to claim. "However, that did not mean that he was not hman and would not eventually think of the consequences that might come from playing such a game." Brilliant!! And Yusuke wishing he could heal faster, and getting angry at the character in the anime for healing her friend, -- I started choking, I was laughing so much. I love it that Kurama is wondering HOW Keiko found out. You're holding that tape over Yusuke's head so perfectly, just like the sword of Damocles. I love it!! And I really liked the scene where Yusuke started blaming Kagome. I think that was a genuinely believable reaction on his part. You always seek to blame someone else first. I was actually surprised when he admitted so quickly that she wasn't a she-devil in disguise. LOL! And, "She seriously needed to stop attracting such weird ass people to herself." I thought I would DIE laughing!! He was thinking about Bankotsu and Jakotsu, and maybe Hiei, but HE'S one of those weird ass people she attracted, too. LOL!! I was really surprised that Inu left Kikyou unfulfilled to meet Kagura, and didn't fuss at her because it was all HER idea for him to be with Kagura. He's been kicking and whining about it, but NOW, at such a moment, he doesn't? Interesting. And that was a nice little tidbit you threw out with Inu not liking her friend Emiko because she had lied to him before. I have to ask, about what? It almost has to be about Kikyou, right? So, ... why is he so dumb? LOL!!! Seriously, he can't put 2 & 2 together, can he? But Kikyou can: him + someone else and HER + someone else. I loved Hiei's thoughts about whether or not the way he was trying to help Kagome was the best one. And have I mentioned how much I enjoy you making Mr. Speedy an obsessive clock-watcher? I giggled again when he scowled about how long it took him to "run" Sess' errand. I love it that he walks everywhere, too, instead of driving. And, ... and, ... he picked up a kitty to give her. Bwahahaha!!! Kuwabara is laughing his ass off! And I just have to tell you, I knew we thought a lot alike, but I completely freaked out when you brought Youko in at the end, with Kikyou. Why? It hasn't been a week since I was discussing pairings with another writer, and we saying that Youko would have been more intrigued by Kikyou than Kagome. (We went on to talk about how everyone would freak over that pairing!!!) So, ... you have my attention in spades. This was simply another awesome chapter, and I will be looking forward to the next update!!

You can't imagine how thrilled I was to see another chapter for this out so soon!! You're a doll to feed my addiction. I really enjoyed the nice, long scene with Kagome and Hiei. Yes, I can't wait for Kagome to stop wallowing in her guilt, but it's very realistic of her to do so, I think. And I loved the way you shopwed her thoughts about such a simple gesture as Hiei holding her hand, -- that it was just so unlike him, that what in the world was she supposed to think? She liked it. It made her feel good. But, at the same time, to her, it was just an indication of how upset he must be to be acting out of character. And he thinks he's being comforting and reassuring. Honestly, you just nailed it! Such REAL reactions from both of them. I loved it that he could make her blush, though, and that he cut off her apology by kissing her. And then HOJO interrupted their moment. AAAuuuggghhh! LOL! I really liked Hiei's thoughts that Kagome was HIS responsibilty, and he didn't want Hojo offering gifts to help her sleep. And I LOVED the way he insisted Hojo call him Jaganshi. And then telling him that she is perfectly fine with his arms for comfort, and that it has worked many times vefore and that it will work many more times -- HA! I wanted to stand up and cheer. And the icing on the cake was when Kagome called him "Akitoki-san." THAT should have cemented in Hiei's mind her devotion to him. But, I loved the little moment of doubt you let slip back into Kagome's mind when Hiei told her he wouldn't tolerate him bringing her gifts to flit with her -- especially not at that moment in time. He really didn't say that well at all. He should have kicked himself. At least he hurried to explain it better. And I liked her bit of determination that she was tired of having something she wanted slip through her fingers. Go Kagome! I loved Hiei's irritation with Jakotsu calling him sweet little nicknames. That really made me giggle! And then Jak telling Hiei they would take care of her and get all ready to do the nasty when he came back -- LOL!! Oh, my stars! And I either hadn't realized it, or had forgotten that Hiei was Kagome's first. And then Jakotsu going on about how "that cute Urameshi" should not have been her first. Loved it! And Hiei had eavesdropped on her telling Sango about their first time -- LOL!! And more great moments for Bankotsu and Sango. I am REALLY loving that couple! And I can't wait for more!! There are SO many good things going on in this fic! It just makes me greedy for MORE!

Fabulous! I just love this story! Can I say again just how much I love your little dialogues between Jakotsu and Bankotsu? And Jak sitting down with some popcorn to watch Bank and Sango argue was priceless. I could just picture it! I love S and B's relationship -- they're so much fun together. I almost died laughing over Jakotsu's comment about what a cute couple he and Inuyasha would have made, "Him and his rough exterior, and me and my stunning beauty." ROFL!! And the way the three of them came to the realization that Hojo was just using Kagome, too, -- THAT was GOOD. I can't wait for him to show up somewhere. Poor Kagome, -- she really did attract some bums, didn't she? At least now she has Hiei! Wooooeeee! That Kikyou is one cold bitch. And she really DOES have Inuyasha twisted around her little finger. How blind can the guy be? I just can't WAIT for him to find out about all of her other lovers!!! He's overdue for reality to hit him smackdab in the face. THEN he'll regret tossing Kagome's love aside. Hmph. I loved Keiko's thoughts, and her curiosity about Kurama, AND Kagome. That poor girl needs to decide what to do about Yusuke. She is amazing in the way she feels sorry for Kagome, considering the circumstances, and I just love it that you're writing her that way, -- that she was able to see Kagome's fear and reluctance and not hold her being with Yusuke against her. I hope they get to meet and talk soon. Yet, I can completely understand Keiko's need to make her decisions about Yusuke first. And I wonder just how that rat is doing. Still holed up at his place recuperating? This was a terrific installment! (Even if Hiei and Kagome didn't make an appearance. LOL!) And thanks for the plug, by the way. I had to go to youtube and check out "Time After Time," since you mentioned it. Believe it or not, I remember when that was a #1 hit by Cyndi Lauper back in the 80's. (I'm showing my age with that statement. LOL!) And I am still hoping that tape doesn't get destroyed quite yet. Yeah, Hiei would probably go berserk if he saw how scared Kagome was on it, but, ... *rubs hands together in anticipation* it would be GREAT!! Heh heh! I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

Great chapter! Yay! I absolutely, positively LOVE the way you're writing Jakotsu and Bankotsu. You're keeping in those little details that make him true to character, like his bloodthirstiness and his inability to count. Wonderful! Nice touch having Kikyou hit on Kouga. She's such a sleeze. I can't wait until Inuyasha finds out about her extracurricular activities. LOL!! Seriously, they're such a sick couple -- they belong on the Jerry Springer show. LOL!! Glad to see Kagome is getting a little better. And she does seem to be confident about Hiei's feelings for her. I hope she and Keiko DO get to talk soon. It might make her feel better to know that Keiko realized immediately that Yusuke was threatening her because of how she looked on the tape. Of course, finding out there IS a tape is going to open a whole new can of worms, isn't it? Loved the sweet moments with Hiei and Kagome, and I can't wait to see if they run into Inuyasha at Sesshoumaru's dinner. Actually, I can't wait to see ALL of the things you have planned for this -- it's a great read. And you're handling the large cast of characters very, very well. Kudos, my friend!

I was SO happy to see a new chapter of this story! And it was a winner, too. I still don't know quite how I feel about Yusuke. He's definitely the villain of the piece, but I keep feeling tiny twinges of sympathy for him. Really tiny. Hmmm. Interesting that Kagura's blathering started Inuyasha thinking about his relationship with Kikyo. I look forward to him finding out some harsh truths. But,as always, the BEST part of the chapter was Hiei and Kagome. I DID like Hiei and Kurama talking some more, especially since that led to her discovery about Yusuke being married. Drumroll please: and there it was! The anger! The anger that she had been used to hurt someone else. Oh, yes! And this should propel her recovery, I believe, won't it? Will she seek out the other woman? Or will Keiko find her through Yukina? I'd like for the women to get a little vengeance on their own. I really liked her reaction -- and I found Hiei's interesting. He didn't want her to get in trouble or end up in jail? Seriously, he didn't really think she could actually HURT Yusuke did he? I would think he'd be afraid if she attacked Yusuke that SHE would get hurt. And now Hiei knows for sure that she didn't know Yusuke was married -- though he pretty much assumed she didn't, just from knowing her character, --I'm sure it was a relief to have that confirmed. Back to his talk with Kurama. What did he think when Kurama told him he never expected to walk in on that situation at his house? I wonder if that is going to prompt some changes, too. I couldn't believe Kurama mentioned he wouldn't have done it at Yusuke's because it wouldn't have been unexpected. Considering the state of things, that's really rather sad. I love the way you are moving everything along in this. Strange to say, but it almost looks like this whole horrible event is going to EVENTUALLY have some positive repercussions in more than one relationship. Kag/Hiei are moving to a new level of trust/security/openness -- possibly towards greater commitment. Keiko will end up (we hope) with a better, more caring man. Yusuke will either grow up or get killed. Hey! It's all win-win! Heh heh! Great job!

I confess that I've been reading this story and haven't reviewed yet...sorry! I've really enjoyed this story so far especially the dynamic between H&K. I like to believe that a relationship can recover from this type of thing. I'm also curious what you're going to do with Kurama and Keiko. Thanks for sharing your story!

Another terrific chapter!! I absolutely loved the Kagome/Hiei stuff! Thank goodness they're working things out and are staying close. I like it that Kagome is starting to seem stronger to Hiei. And he told her he loves her -- Yay! And he'd still like to get his hands on Inuyasha for messing up her mind in the first place. Me, too. But, I'm looking forward to Kagome showing and feeling she is worthy of Hiei's love. So, Kikyou has been cheating on Inuyasha and he doesn't know it? Ha! Love it. I wonder who she's cheating with? And she's even thinking of picking up another guy? Hoo hoo! I can't wait for him to find out what a fool he is. Loved the tidbit about Kagura talking about being free like the wind. LOL! And Bankotsu and Sango are so good together. I agree, he's much better than Miroku. Also loved the bit about Banyruu being his lucky baseball bat. It's so great how you keep throwing in these little details from the manga/anime and making them human/normal. And, of course, Bankotsu took a picture with his cell phone! Cute scene with Rin and Sesshoumaru. And Kurama just walked right in to Hiei's bedroom and got the shock of his life. I love it that he saw the peace and contentment Hiei feels with Kagome. That was nicely written. So, what does he want to talk to Hiei about? This is really such a wonderful story, and I'm loving it more and more with each chapter. I can't wait for the next one!!

Will Inuyasha and Kagome meet again? If so how will that go? What if Inuyasha really does love Kagome, but he went along with Kikyo's game, because perhaps he didn't really realize it, till it was to late? Does Inuayasha know about Hiei and Kagome being an item? What if Inuyasha gets the wind of what Yusuke did to Kagome, how will he react?, Feel? Will he go after Yusuke for hurting her? (that might be quite interesting.) How does Kikyo feel about Kagome? If she didn't have any problems with Kagome, then why did she and Inuyasha did what they did? If word gets around to the right people and if Kagome is well known, beloved member of town/citizen, they could get blackballed from everything from restaurants to hotels/motels, to renting movies. (Geese, ever since helping my friend with "Dynasty", I seem to be obsessed power and blackballing people.) Will Yusuke try to get Kagome again? He still has the sex tape, which Keiko and Yukina other then Yusuke knows about. It could be interesting if Inuyasha somehow gets hold of it. Maybe that's how he finds out about Yusuke forcing Kagome. Yikes, what would happen if Hiei gets the wind of this tape? How did Hiei and Kagome first met, was it before she and Inuyasha dating, during or after their breakup? What's the story between Kagome and Sesshomaru, Sesshomaru and Inuyasha? Please update ASAP.

Awesome chapter! You really covered a lot of ground in that one. I love the way you revealed more about Kagome through Yusuke's thoughts about all the crazy people who might be gunning for him. That was so cleverly done. Loved Bankotsu and Jakotsu! You told a lot about them, too. And I was intrigued to hear that Jakotsu went after Inuyasha for hurting Kagome. Actually, now that I think about it, you told a lot about Kagome from a lot of different points of view. Kurama compared her to Keiko, and talked about her independence and the attraction she holds for Hiei. I was so intrigued by his idea that something may have to happen for her to learn to defend herself not necessarily physically, but to take up for herself). I look forward to seeing her become stronger. It's hard to see her so weak and broken and guilty. I love it that Bankotsu is wanting Kagome to stay with Hiei, AND that he wants to watch Hiei pummel Inuyasha. (I hope we get to see that, too!! Heh heh!) I liked the way Yukina told Keiko about Kagome, too, so she doesn't really blame her. (Of course, she felt she was coerced just from the tape she saw already.) It would be neat to have them meet and become friends. Kagome doesn't know Yusuke was married -- could THAT be the catalyst for her to get angry instead of guilty? This is just wonderful. I love the way you are fleshing out the characters and their relationships with each other. The first chapter was so sad and Kagome was so pathetic that I wasn't sure where this story would go. (Too much angst gets to me.) But this is such a full-bodied piece of work, and you are hitting all the right notes. So far, there are 3 real villains: Yusuke, of course, (and you even wove in a SLIGHT amount of sympathy for him -- just because he's a baka), Inuyasha, and Kikyou. Those two really make me sick playing around with others the way they do because they aren't really happy with each other, but seem to be addicted to each other. Yeah, I'd really like for Inuyasha to see or hear about Kagome and have some second thoughts about his feelings for her, so Hiei can mop up the floor with him. (Or maybe Kagome could do it herself!) I will be faithfully and anxiously awaiting your next chapter!
