omg, I'm so glad you updated this! This story is so great, I feel like I've been waiting forever! I love the way the mark turned out...I can't wait to see the explaination for it, and what Kikyou's reaction was...is she ignoring them? Is that why she was leaving? With the way she had been acting you would think she would be right in the middle of them! LOL. You wrote the Ritual absolutely beautifully. I loved the mannerisms you gave to Inuyasha's demon side, like him recognizing his brother, and remembering that Kagome said she was his. Great job!

I like this update, oh man Kagome almost died because of Kikyo shit. Are Inuyasha and Kagome mates? Update when you can.

I can't believe that Kikyo is that stupid, does she listen to anyone? I don't feel sorry that she is about to lose her husband to his true mate, her niece Kagome, especially since she treats him so badly. I am sorry for Kagome though, to have to go through all this and then she is going to be treated like dirt by Kikyo. I wonder how long it will take Inuyasha to realize that Kagome is his true mate and to get Kikyo out of his life. I am sure that the Kanji on her neck will help everyone realize who belongs with whom. Please don't leave us all in the dark for so long again, I really want to see the ending of this. PPPPLLLLEEEEAASSSSSEEEE

:happy dance: You wrote another chapter! SQUEE! Ok. Now back to reality. Excellent chapter. While I can somewhat understand Kikyou's concer/upset/anger, she has really screwed the pooch. She was so jealous (and jealousy it was) that she has caused the very thing she feared. At this point (and maybe for another week storywise) I think she isn't getting nearly as bad as she deserves. Her petty jealousy over a man that she won't even allow to touch her when he is hanyou, almost killed her neice. Killed! I love the "my soul" comment for Kagome's kanji. It's fitting. She is everything that Kikyou could have been and wasn't. Thanks so much for updating this. I loved the background and was sad when I thought that you weren't going to write it anymore for a while, if ever.

You wont believe how loud I shrieked when I saw that you updated this fanfic! I thought you discontinued it or something and I was just about to give up on ever reading an update but you didn't! I am so happy that you updated, this honestly just made my day and the ending of the chapter just made it all the more better. I could be irritated with you that you left somewhat of a cliffy but I'm just all together happy you even updated! I really hope to read more from this soon and by soon I mean soooooon. Thanks for writing such a great chapter and updating after so long and thank you for being so creative! I can honestly say I have never read anything like this before and I'm just too excited right now that it was really really updated! Lol(=

You know, I've spent over a year just hating you with every fiber of my being, but now that you've updated again, it doesn't seem so bad! Despite the long time between updates, getting to read the new chapter makes me feel like the last one came out yesterday. Good stuff! Hopefully the next one will come out sooner, but take however long you need for another awesome chapter! And I'll just be glad there IS a new chapter...I'd started to think you'd never update this.
