This is no more twisted then the majority of fics I have read that center around Bakura. The only difference is that the twistedness has a point, and isn't just there to satisfy the writer's rape fetish/attempt for attention or sympathy. Yes it's still twisted, but at least it isn't pointless. Another difference between this writing and the majority of other Bakura centric fics is that it's interesting. It makes ME want to write about the corresponding 'twistedness' that may or may not reside in the depth of Ryou's mind. The others often as not inspire me to shoot myself for thinking that there might actually be an Original take on why Bakura is as he is, and not just because he's "A Bad guy" and the writer has no other way of expressing this then have him commit pointless acts of violence that, when help up against a semi-rational thought process, fail. Frankly I was getting ready to load the metaphoric gun again. Well you proved me wrong and wonderfully so at that. I am not a fan of fics like this, if my ranting hasn't already clued you in, but I enjoyed This a lot. Thought has been put into this, and it gives me something to think about as well. It's interesting, well written and unique in the way nearly every other fic like this that I have read Isn't. Great job
