Damn, Jealous Rukia is so cute. Hisana's angst? "I wish I could have seen her, just once, just once before I die. I wish I could see her… and then I can rest in peace." Heartwrenching. I think getting to see each other for the last time is more a boon for Hisana than for Rukia. The part where Rukia fought the hollow, asking Ichigo to fall back, reminded me of that time during pre-soul society arc when Ichigo fought the grand fisher. I also like how you drew out the reason why Rukia is angry at Ichigo, giving it away only after a pivotal moment when Ichigo kissed her, it made the moment an added dramatic flair. Ichigo worried about Rukia, wow, that's cute. What's cuter is Ichi's jealous anger towards the poor ticketman.

Utterly amazing backstory for Rukia and Hisana - it ties up loose ends, it's totally plausible, and it has such strong emotional oomph to it. I love all of your fics in general, but this one definitely impressed me with this backstory!

Thank you god, the "idiodicy" has been explained, and it wasn't that Ichigo had a thing for Orihime. You scared me there for awhile. I'm *so* glad everything worked out. And I am definitely looking forward to your next story. Great job1

Awww, I liked the ending. I hope Rukia gets over her pique at Ichigo kissing Orihime (whatever idiocy possessed him), and grab her chance at happiness. I think we all know that Ichigo will do his best to take care of her. Great job, and I can't wait for more of your stories.

So good...and still so frustrating. It's obvious from what Ichigo was saying, and from what Chad and Renji were talking about that the kiss between Ichigo and Orihime was about something other than romance (I hope). I thought it was cute how worried Ichigo was...and amusing that Renji was much less worried. I am certianly looking forward to more chapters!

A backstory, a backstory! Rukia has a past now. Very interesting. The only thing I missed was what happened between Ichigo and Orihime. Just *why* did he kiss her, anyway?

Oh...wow. Ichigo kissed Orihime? What was he thinking? Or was he thinking? That was a shocking end to the chapter. At least we know why she's so upset with him now, though. I was also a little surprised to find out about Hisana leaving a squalling Rukia in an alleyway (have only read as far as the US release of the manga). For some reason, I expected their separation to be because of them dying at slightly different times, or another reason. Not willful. Poor Rukia. I wouldn't be surprised if she had a few issues with being abandoned after all that. But another great chapter! Can't wait for more!

I'm really enjoying the story. The only problem is that the series of events has left me a but confused, though thats really not a bad thing. Keep it up, I eagerly await the next chapture.

Another well-written story! I am a little confused as to what is going on right now, but I'm sure that you will explain things as this story goes on. Why is Rukia so mad at Ichigo? *WHY* did she go back to Soul Society for an entire week, and not tell Ichigo? And WHY could Ichigo not go to Soul Society to look for her? Rukia is acting extremely wierd (for her), and I look forward to the explanation. Can't wait for more!
