sess and inu and kagome together. sounds like a trio made in hell. of them all, kagome would have the least number of problems inu has to worry about the pup, sess, and how kagome will react and sess. sess will be more about what to do with the kid... i was thinking this is a bridge chapter where nothing much happens.. just the 3 of them in sess's home... perhaps the next chapter will be about discoveries.. or knowing the truth i await the developments....*grins*

Of course I enjoyed this latest update. I hope you did well on that last test... Hmm... Am I reading too much into Sesshomaru finding Inuyasha's presence comforting, and the fact that he was playing with his hair and showing the pink part of his lids when he was talking to him? It's quite sweet how tolerant of Kagome he has become, so much so that he would compare her to Rin. Chiyo did not disappoint. Her talking to Sesshomaru like he was a child was quite funny. Then again it has been suggested that he is a child in demon terms... Inuyasha's curiousity about Sesshomaru is disarmingly cute. As is his protective streak. Our favourite demon lord blaming Inuyasha for his predicament made me snicker. After all it takes two to tango! They're bickering like a couple already. I wonder how Chiyo will take the news that Inuyasha is the father of Sesshomaru's baby? What else can she do with that stick? Hmm... Any saucy Inuyasha POVs coming up? I won't dare ask about lime. I set something of a personal record by making it to chapter 18/19 of the fic I'm working on at the moment before the protagonists kissed... I look forward to your next update!

i really like this..... it's more complicated than the usual story-lines w/ this pairing (not that i dislike those any less.. just different qualities ^^;; ) that neither one of the brother's are at a point of compromise, even though it's all out in the open now, is very frustrating but at the same time.. well.. the anticipation is worth it!! 'Cuz I can't wait to see how this turns out! And both of those boys need to deal w/ a lot of suppressed (some not so much) aggression~ Very kewl so far, very kewl. .................. very very kewl................ **waits ever so patiently for more**

you should use the email for gen50inlj... although i did get to read your email but it took me a while to remember who it was.... mating is special to demons - okay. why... because they have such long lives. egyptians dont. true they believe in the afterlife, but then their obligation to the throne (or royalty for that matter is over) so mating must be special to demons. particularly to guys like sess, lord of the western lands. he needs an heir who is strong and will fight to keep their lands. therefore, mating is special - and most specially to sess. whoever he mates would have to be forever, you see. you are referring to concubines. yes, royalty does have that (actually muslims and ye olde chinese families have those as well) number one wife is always important - heir comes from no. 1 wife usually. and number one wife, in sess terminology - is the mate. all other mates do not have that - how did you describe it - that red thread. i hope you have inuyasha falling for sess at some point, i mean i always thought inu wanted to belong, if sess had been nicer in his youth i dont think any human female would win his heart. and even then the human females have NOT totally won his. (in my opinion, not totally. i mean how does inu fully expect to live in the 21st century?? so even kagome has something offlimits about her. anyway i should get on with my review - you sidetracked me with the mating question) that red thread and the glow. naraku saw the thread, but kagome did not. so at some point you'd explain that. why naraku? i mean evil guy that he is - why should he see something as beautiful as all that. and why myoga doesnt see it??? as for the glowing... you have to explain that. i'm thinking it has to do with a mating ritual but since you arent very receptive to that, then it cant be. so, i just have to say why? in a demon's ordinary life that could be dangerous isnt it - as it identifies mates... (or is it because sess didnt mark inu?? hmmm. i'm not sure about this so i have to re-read the thing - its in my hard disk - mainly because i cant read mm when my eyes get tired and i can enlarge word) as for killing the pup... i dont think sess can - if inu doesnt want the pup killed. (did you say that in the fic? i'm reading so many fics at the same time that sometimes i get confused - which is also why i re-read a lot). primarily since inu is dominant to sess (wont that be problematic for the lord of the west? i mean he is lord of the west. drats. i have to read that chapter again when he makes a deal with inu) hard for the lord of the west to be submissive.. (take inutasho for example - he took women as his mates - that meant he was dominant...) i agree. inu cannot terminate any child. and he will adapt himself for the child. the child is something of HIS. something he can claim for his own. he is the FATHER. what did you call sess? carrier. sounds cold to me but maybe because i dont understand the nuances of what you mean... i liked the chapter but i want so many things explained. well, let me re-read and get back to you later today. (i have plenty of time. i'm home with a cast on my left leg and cant go to work...)

Yay! Inuyasha to the rescue... Boy! He's dumb as mud but really very sweet. Don't get me wrong, I like that in a guy. So long as he's good looking too. Dumb and ugly just doesn't work... I do like the glowy thing and the pup responding to Inuyasha was so sweet and adorable! Hmm... So what has the evil Naraku got planned next for our favourite Inu brothers, huh? I look forward to your next update.

what did i say? hmmm. i dont know what i said that made you say all that... snow is the nickname of the author who writes sessxinu stories - "a day to play", "centennial hunger" (which i adore!), "whispers of promises..." you can check her stories out if you like. she writes very well. back to your fic- so now inuyasha knows he has marked sesshoumaru. and they are mated. mating is a special thing for demons, yes? since they have such long lives.. and well, i think they should value faithfulness. sess being the uke is surprising, but i like. inu to sess's rescue. it sounds romantic and so like inuyasha. he really doesnt hate his brother, and now ... i would like to see how sess behaves towards inuyasha - his mate... and how inuyasha would behave to his mate, sess sess didnt mark inu, but then inu was dominant. also figures sess would carry, since he's the full demon. i am quite excited about the next chapter. this chapter was essentially a bridge one, it enabled inu to realize he was mated! and sess gets to see a bit of inuyasha's life -how life with kagome was .. (loud, for one) i think i'm going to re-read all the chapters after i sleep and wake up. it is 2am here where i am, and do another review to see if reading all of the chapters changes anything i have to say... i'm glad sess wont be raped by naraku. i already hate naraku a lot and dont need to add any more anger.

i dont see the why of this chapter. i like chiyo but you have to tie up this chapter to how it shapes sess, otherwise this is a meaningless chapter. i do not like meaningless chapters. chapters must have a reason... and a chapter dedicated to chiyo must have relevance to the main fic.... which i dont see yet, you could of course always tie it up later, but your admission gives you away. so dont do that.... your fic is rather nice, and deserving but you keep trying to tear it down in your a/n. dont do that. dont keep saying it sucks... just say - if you feel less than happy that you werent happy with the chapter but you posted for you readers, that goes better. the reader is aware that there might be fic difficulties withour your initial judgement. just a tip. you're doing a good job, hence the nomination. someone thought it was wonderful and deserving enough to be voted. and being voted might get you more readers - so dont turn them off by making your efforts small by belittling them a bit. that was a longish gab. i like your fic, it wasnt perfect - like i said enough with the substitution already. inu should have gotten wise immediately after the 2nd disappearance of kags. still... nothing has happened to sess - which you left in a cliffie, as the reader is only left with your a/n to assure him of the non-rape. The reader is still left hanging about as to what will happen. so, i think the readers needs to know soon. am i too demanding? i hope not. i like to think i am a fair reviewer, that is, an unbiased one.

you have sess IC. and kagome is IC. she is slightly tactless, and here you display it in all its glory. yes, i realize you exaggerate it a bit, but it is a useful plot device, and done nicely. thank you. i dont think i can stand sess being raped by naraku. i dont like the fics where inu is raped by naraku either (see slave in mm and aff - inu has undying angst in that fic, it bothers me terribly) i hate naraku, and thank you for not leaving it a cliffie. anyway, arent you happy i am reviewing by chapters, against my usual style... but anyway, my fault for missing this. your other fic - the oneshots also sound interesting - except there are oneshots wherein inu is death - and i'm not happy with that chappie. sorry for the short digression into your other fic. anyway, back to my reading

this didnt really suck - the reason why this is an 8 and the 10 because you cannot keep the facade going on for long without inuyasha catching on. i mean it just wont fly and keep inu IC. this goes for the rest of the inu gang. normally inu would have been highly suspicious when she didnt sit him the first time. inu is a very suspicious guy. he has to be. this is how he has survived. he would be the first to suspect that it wasnt kagome, particularly since he fancied himself as liking her a lot (mind you, i think he likes sess, except that sess was in this killing mode). anyway, that explains the rating. chapter wise it was okay, but stop with the fake kags already. enough is enough. dont make inu stupid, he isnt. and neither is miroku and sango stupid though they would have longer patience than inu.

me hopes that naraku isnt going to destroy sess's mating with inu. i could personally kill him if that happens. a long excruciatingly painful death - that is what is appropriate for the appalling creature that naraku is. i hate him. every fic i read reinforces that hatred.... so there is no need to add to my hatred, but i fear that is where this fic is headed. i like your description of a glowing sess - as mark of his mated state.... i really like it. and i agree that mates cannot harm each other. good for you. you went along the same lines. and so now i proceed, a little hesitantly... i do so hate naraku.
