You have NO idea how much I love this fic. It's been one of my favorites since probably July, but I never had time to review because I was reading it on a print out away from home and just never got around to it. God I'm sorry for that! But I thought you had ended it at chapter five. I had no idea there was more!! Glad I decided to read it again just because. ^.^ I love where you're going with it. You are gonna continue this right?! I mean... PLEASE?! I'm dying to know what happens next. Goku can't leave! Videl has to stop him. SOMEONE has to stop him!! Anyways... I totally, absolutely, and completely LOVE this plot. And the fact that your chapters are quite lengthy. Makes for an amazing read! I'm SO anxious for an update. Please end a poor otaku's suffering? Pweety pwease? *puppy dog eyes* lol. I know... that look never works. Nonetheless, I hope you don't keep us waiting too much longer with an update!! I'll be the first one there! |

Oh my gosh! That is so sad! Videl & Goku are bonding, I just know it. :( Even though I know they should stay with their spouses b/c that's the moral thing to do, I still want Goku & Videl together!! It's just too sad if they're not! Anyway, great chapter as always. Oh, and I really liked the reference you made to no one knowing what really happened during those three years between B/V... that was clever. Looking forward to next update. :) |

For some reason, most probably the way you write ;), the emotion in this fic just sucks me in every time I read a chapter and the rest comes flooding back. Referring to the way Vegeta speaks as 'Vegeta Standard' was highly amusing. Also, your portrayal of his thoughts toward what Goku is going to do are an excellent insight into his character. It makes me wonder what your thougts are when you write him into this fic. Even more, I wonder about how you think Vegeta feels toward Gohan in this fic, and why he feels that way.
Having Videl talk to Bulma was nice, I thought. Especially when she talked to Bulma about Goku's promise to her, and then the explanation of why he stayed away after Cell. Tied in with that, Bulma's words to Goku when she saw him later rang very true according to your portrayal of Goku's character. It seems that, for Goku, the hardest decisions often seemed to be the best at the moment and often were , but still, hindsight is always clearer. Sadly, if he leaves, I fear that will be the case again. Baka Saiyans.
I feel so badly for Videl. Her reaction to the events on the security camera will be very interesting. Oddly enough, I feel bad for not feeling worse for Gohan. I do feel bad for him...but at the same time I can't help but think that Goku is so much more deserving. I still hope Goku stays with her in the end. Call me slow, but I still don't know who you are going to have her end up with, I just hope it works out for her. |

The first thing I simply must say is that I love Vegeta. You have done an excellent job of portraying the mystery and cunning intellect of the saiyan no ouji. Secondly, it seems a rather obvious statement to make given the pairing of this fic, but I love Goku with Videl, thank you very much. After part seven I was willing to give Gohan a chance. After part eight I am going to start crying if that happens and Goku truly gives Videl up. Wonderful, realistic, heart-wrenching complication. Domo arigato, Pareathe-san. |

Oh my gosh... this was such a sad chapter. *sniff* So much emotion. And the scene with Gohan & Videl talking was amazing. I also liked Videl crying in the backyard and the moment's hesitation that resulted in Goku being the one to bring her inside. It shows that you take great care in walking through your characters' actions and dialogue because it is so real that it pulls you into the story. Can't wait to see what happens next. |

That was intense!! Great choice of characters to include in this chapter btw. Piccolo's & Vegeta's presence really added to the drama.
The last line was excellent and heartbreaking: "I’ve died twice, but as we step onto our joint lawn and her hand hesitantly lets go of mine, it’s the first time I‘ve ever actually felt dead."
