what were you worried about? this was one of the best written first kiss scenes i've ever read. the unsurity and tentative nature leant a sense of innocence. i really lied the way you had kagome take the lead. i loved her teasing nature. i'm always so happy when i get a notification of your updates. thank you for making my day

I truly love this story. I think the charicterizations ring true despite the alte-uni. i review and reccomended this story on Fanworksfinder.com and i encourage others to do the same.

This chapter had a lot going for it. You tied up some loose threads (the proposition thing) and gave us some warm fuzzies (the mama/Inu talk) and got us started on the next story arc. Quite a lot of work in one chapter. And you meshed one topic into the next in a smooth way. I look forward to seeing how Inu reacts to Kagome entering her picture in the contest.

I knew she would do that! Bet it would be the picture of her that he drew. Would he be angry afterward? Anyway, I really like the intellegance and motherly knowing that you've given to Mrs. Higurashi. She's so NICE! Reminds me of my mom. I hope that Inuyasha can see her as a future parent. Also, I almost blew through th roof when I saw this!!! You only have 100 reviews or so? That's not enough, you deserve WAAAAAY MORE! you continue to amaze me with this story. being based on violence, it has such a warm, gentle feeling. the threads of the relationships that you have woven create a lovely picture. i thought the conversation between inuyasha and kagome's mother was one of the best i've ever read. it was just full of warm fuzzies. but i wonder if kagome's submission of inuyasha's art will cause him problems when his father finds out.(and we know he will). once again, thank you for adding to the enjoyment of my life with another great chapter.

*does a happy happy dance* yay!!! The conversation Inuyasha has with Kagome's mother brought tears to my eyes. I can totally relate with the not denying a child a safe haven. It breaks my heart when ppl have no where to go, to be safe and warm and well fed. I recently opened my home to one of my hubby's co-workers, when he didn't have a place to go. He isn't exactly a child, but the semantics still apply. Dear God this is such a heart warming story. Have I told you lately how much I appreciate your writing? I really do, it tugs on my heart strings. And Kagome is being sneaky, submitting Inuyasha's artwork to that contest. I hope it goes well, and Inuyasha realizes his full potential. Enjoy your vacation and update as soon as you get back, because your adoring readers will be lost with out you. (well I will anyways). Keep up the excellent work!!!!!!!!

Sneaky Kagome! Between her and her mother, they're going to save our hanyou, whether he likes it or not! Love Mrs. Higurashi, she is true to character, you can't help but love her. You can see where Kagome gets her heart from, as well as her determination. Very good chapter, will miss you while you're gone, hurry back!
