You. Win. This is a brilliant one-shot. I like the way you tried to delve through Abel's character through Caterina's eyes and their relationship. We know Father Featherbrain's not really a goofy guy to begin with but there's a point where the false persona starts blending in with the real person and one completely understands exactly WHY there are so many things Abel wants to forget, if only for a brief moment with the goofyness. And HELL YEAH!!! on the Abel & Tres relationship dynamic. The manga has a scene where Abel refers to Tres as his "little brother" and you make such a beautiful extrapolation from it, whether or not you've read the manga as I have. Great job! There's so few good Trinity Blood fan fics out there and with poor Sunao-sensei gonde, it's like it's left up to us to tell the rest.
