I wonder what he'll do with the girl. I mean, he could just drop her off at a hospital, or some kind of social services place, but I'm more inclined to think that he'll just take her with him. I hope so. And I'm like Sam's family, maybe she should just chill for a while, and stay at home. I'm sure she just wants to get back into the game, to prove to herself that she'll be fine, but I want her to stay home. She can still help out Sydnie and Bas from there. Now, where, oh where, is Kurt gonna go?

Dear Sueric: Once again I must take back my words and say that YOU ARE NOT CRUEL!! You are the most amazing, loving, sweet, compassionate, adorable, and understanding writer in the face of this planet!!! You gifted us with another chapter!!! YAY!! And not just any chapter!! Oh no!! But THE Chapter!!+++***+++ I really feel for Belle!! I mean, after watching those videos and then hearing from Sami that she wants to go back out there...It must have felt like a thousand daggers stabbing her heart all at once!!! As a mother I know that I would want to keep my baby locked in a fortress for the rest of eternity if something like that were to happen!! No one would ever have a chance to hurt my little girl again!!+++***+++ I simply adore Cain! He is one of my top favorite characters in the Purity Saga. He can be so perceptive at times and he is wise beyond belief!! The fact that he was able to talk to Sam the way he did just speaks volumes about the kind of man he is!! I love him!! +++***+++ I must say that this chapter did come with it's toll for me...I couldn't help and jump shouting "-YEAH!! OH HELL YEAH!!!-" when I read that Kurt had cut the nuts (can't call them balls. Kurt has balls!! That Monster had Nuts!!) +++***+++ Unfortunately for me, I got a bit carried away and pulled a stitch!! (OUCH!) After a well deserved sermon about the doctors orders and my stay in bed by my beloved hubby, I got a new dressing and laid down again to continue the story. +++***+++ I know I am about to sound like a crazy, vindictive, sadistic bitch in here, but I don't feel that was enough punishment!! I was so angry at everything Thurman had done that I felt he got off easy!! I wanted him to suffer!! To really suffer!!! To have him feel so much pain that his mind would never be able to come back to it's normal state!! I wanted him raped, covered in so much blood that it's pure name would make him cry and scream in pain! I wanted him to have his penis cut and deformed in such a way that no human being would ever consider the most minimum intimacy with him! +++***+++ After what he did to the mother, and then to the baby, it's the least he deserved!! +++***+++ Please forgive me, I know... I sound deranged, but it is just so unfair! Castration is just not enough!! I saw a show on TV about former rapists and child molesters, and one of them had been castrated, and even after that he managed to rape another woman!! So to still be able to commit such a crime after that, it is proof that castration is just not enough!! +++***+++ Besides, if his fiancé really loved the ass and had no idea of the kind of monster he is, he could just make up a lie about what happened to him and she would still stay with him!! +++***+++ As I said, not enough punishment!! +++***+++ Uffff!! The fact that she can frisk Kurt in search of the treat makes it even more adorable!! She is going to be so loved by everyone!!+++***+++ Well, I wanted to confess: Yes, I am a big whiner!!! Wow. Being a rabid reader since Purity 4, and re-reading Purity instead of catching up on a lot of newer fic (lol), I could never decide on my favorite story until this one. I'm completely on the edge of my seat waiting for updates, and my best friend and I call each other to squeal and gasp about whatever happened in the latest chapter. On another note, while you've always, in my opinion, been the best writer in the fandom, it seems to me you've improved even more with this story. I couldn't pinpoint how, exactly, but felt the need to say so. Also, your courage with this particular story, with Kurt and what he does to the doctors... very brave of you. I'm not so sure I could get that graphic, even if the characters completely deserved it, which those guys totally do. So kudos all around. I love this story!

WOW. WOW. WOW. Kurt cut of the guys balls, stuck them in a jar, and set the jar in front of him. WOW. It's really messed up, but I feel like Thurman really deserved that. And Kurt, well, he's going to make sure that little girl is okay. I know he will. These chapters keep getting crazier and crazier. I never know what to expect! (as if I ever did before)!!

I love how you portray every nuance of Samantha and Kurt's characters. I can see their strengths and their weaknesses combining into real, believable personalities. Good work! I do have a small question though....how does Kurt know what phone numbers to call to reach Samantha's family?

omg sueric! youve really outdone yourself with this fanfic..this chapter especially! its sooooo goodXD so full or angst and anticipation and sadness and...omg! i cant wait for the next chapter...Purity 8 is by far one of your best so far!!! its one of my favsXD not that all your fics arnt my favs too...but this is just soooooo goodXD i feel so sorry for the little girl youkai and her mother...the father is such an ***....augh...i hope kurt helps her out...you know i can see him ending u pcalling bas or something and asking them to come pick up the little girl...or he ends up taking her along with him...and the sammy and him adopt her!!! lolXD imagination running wild...i really hope you dont plan on ending this fic anytime soon..its just too good to endXD i love it=D good work=D and happy writing=D thx for the two chapters this time=D

Ever feel like you were gonna cry? Like you KNEW it was coming, right on the edge of your consciousness, but wouldn't come to fruition? I was borderline BLUBBER and somehow got it together. I thought of my neice and how I'd feel if she was treated that way, had been through such a traumatic beginning and was still being treated like less than spit. It gave me such a feeling of revulsion, I changed my mind about eating lunch. I LITERALLY don't think I can stomach anything right now. I mean, this goes beyond a ONS or even a deadbeat dad--TEST SUBJECT? Oh, HELL no! I think of Kelvin, of Thurman, and that (pardon my Portugeuse) FUCKING COWARD Calbot and wanted to just take the PC I was reading off of and toss the mother fucker! I have witnessed some of the saddest, most vile, ridiculous child abuse, neglect and abandonment you could ever imagine but THAT, that chapter and all the drama in it, it was just too much! My heart cried "How COULD you!" and I just wanted to call BCW on every trifling parent I knew in divine retribution...but, the kids... Anyway, on to the review; had to get that out, sorry. I am already in love with the little hanyou girl and I can easilly see a bond growing with the two as they make a road trip to wherever Kurt initially deems best to take her. I see cleansing and coming to terms and nightmares anew but old ones fading, of a man truly BECOMING a man, to himself and for himself in a way he'd never think to be--because all his life used to be about vengence, with no other goal or dream. To have a family, to be TRULLY loved, cherished, needed, treasured...will do so much for him. I hope he adopts the little one. But, I'm getting WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY ahead of myself. I many ways, I want those doctors in some way to pay, to be destroyed scientifically, to be ostracized from the community in every way, to feel true fear and terror and paranoia and uncertainty every day of their lives. Then, I take a breath and think. The ONLY thing keeping a lid on all those emotions and those rather morbid thoughts is the FAMILIES that some of those monsters may have and the CHILDREN that may be affected. That's the ONLY thing keeping me from railing with Kich and Belle for blood and consistentantly chanting it darkly. I just want this over. Leave the youkai and hanyous alone. Let the hunters do thier jobs and get the hell out of the way. OMG, this story's getting me riled..but, still, I LOVE it! Keep it coming, Sue! Well, Thursday, I guess. OMG, just REMEMBERING Belle watching those files, I shudder. For a mother to see such a thing. God, she's stronger than I EVER gave her credit. Not that I ever thought she was weak but, if it were me, I think i'd instantly upchuck and zap out. Okay, going to get me a cup oc chamomile or something...decaf...and a teddy bear or a hug or something. yeah.
