Oh my god! that was a great update...i dont really like the idea of one update every months, because i might die from waiting, but i am glad that the first chapter was just as good as the prolouge! The prolouge was what got me hooked. PLEASE UPDATE SOON! have a nice day! ~_~Hitsugaya630~_~

Shippo and Naraku as horses?! You made my day. I am so glad the first chapter was just as good as the prologue. Though I hate the idea of just one update a month..........well I know it will be worth it.

Another excellent chapter. I love how you write as if you are speaking to the reader directly. It gives the feeling of actually being there, and receiving a tour. Now, I wonder why I'm getting the feeling that Mr. Higurashi isn't going anywhere? Interesting that Inuyasha would name his horse Naraku. I remember reading before that Naraku translates into Hell. Taking into consideration that Inuyasha probably feels as if he's in Hell, giving his horse that name actually seems to fit quite well. I notice that you are following the origional story. Will Koga's personality be like Gaston's in the Disney version? Not that Koga is all that different from Gaston in the first place. Personally, I hate him, and I wish Kagome would let Inuyasha kick that stupid wolf's butt rather than sit him. But I digress... I'm looking forward to the next chapters. I'm intrigued about who's blood will be spilled, and how it's going to affect the story. Mostly, I'm looking forward to Inuyasha and Kagome meeting, and finding out a bit more about Inuyasha's past, even if I do have to wait for that particular bit.

I think the women who died was his mother. And the women who turned him to a half-demon was Kikyo. It seems more like that to me. Could you please update soon!? I am like dieing here from not knowing what happens next! PLEASE! please, please, please, please, please, please! I love it i love it love it love it love it love it love it love it!!!!

Okay, I read the chapter again, and I'm gonna add in a few more of my thoughts. We already know that Kagome is the 'Beauty' of the story. I'm guessing that Kikyo was the woman who died, and Tsubaki was the witch. At first I thought the dying woman could be an OC, and Kikyo was the witch, but looking back, cursing him seems more of a Tsubaki thing to do rather than Kikyo. And the fact that she was a warrior fits too. I liked how you fit the significance of the roses into the story. As one reviewer pointed out, Kagome always loved Inuyasha just the way he was, so I'm also looking forward to seeing how that will pan out. Like I said before, I really love what you have going here, and I will definitely be waiting to see what comes of this story.

What an awesome beginning. I hope more comes of it. I love Inuyasha/Kagome stories, and Beauty and the Beast is one of my most favorite fairy tales, so you got me hooked.

Once again, this is such a lovely prologue. It's very visual; I can definitely "see" exactly what is happening and feel the tension in the very atmosphere. I think we're all eager to devour part II!
