A wonderful piece of fanfiction; you have the makings of a very good writer. I must admit, you had me a little scared in the beginning. I thought this was going to be another one of those stories where Inuyasha's demonic nature completely dominates their relationship, but I was happy to find that you achieved a nice balance between 'alpha male' Inuyasha and 'hurt little boy' Inuyasha. Too few authors really capture the conflicting emotions and characteristics that make up our favorite hanyou, but you've done just that. I think you should try writing a longer story. I can tell you that it's a completely different experience from writing a one-shot, but a worthwhile one nonetheless. I look forward to hopefully reading more from you.

That is so good almost unimaginable to think up of words like that and weave the whole story together in just a paragraph it was beautiful i guess is the only way to say a little.

Fanfics - or any kind of writing, actually - can go a wide range between awe-inspiring / excellent and total, utter rubbish. You, dearest, scored an excellent. Eloquent, well-written, *feel-able* emotions, of the running-down-your-body-quivering quality. If this one was your first, I desperately love to read more of you. After all, practice makes perfect - though I really don't see how you have much room for improvement. Am totally open for pleasant surprises, though, so gambatte, ne?

Have you ever posted this elsewhere and perhaps revamped it? It feels familiar, like I've read it before or perhaps something close to it and I wouldn't want the two of them to be mistaken. Neways, the story is very good.

That was very well done. At first I thought it was AU, after the mention of his car and such, although it was still thoroughly enjoyable. But I think it touches the heart even more to realize that he was the "real" Inuyasha, whom we all know and love. He's very intelligent, and I wouldn't see him having much of a problem adapting to Kagome's time, especially with her love and support helping him every step of the way. Again, very well done.
