LOL, love the latest installment "Of Pink and Black". I'm still trying to envision a gothed out Tinkerbell, and I liked that Gaara comment. Moreover, I loved your references to other authors' stories, and am actually familiar with the one by Doggieearlover that you described briefly. I also agree that the dance club scene looked like something out of one of da grrrl's fics, and I loved how it took Kagome and Inuyasha a moment to realize they weren't in the club any longer when you changed scenes. All in all, as crackfics go, this one was really cute. Well done.

You really do not realize how lonely Inuyasha is until you find out that 1.he was willing to turn human for Kikyo so that he would not be alone. 2.He was willing to die with Kikyo in the Illusory Death Chapter so that he would be alone. 3. After the Chapter on Jineji he stated when he finally carved out a place for himself he was totally alone. Even though Kagome told him that he is not alone and a remembrance her telling him that saved him and the rest from the illusory death, he still actually wanted to die with illusion of Kikyo in the Flower Emperor Chapter. It was only Kagome's voice that brought. He is empty without Kagome. It is only Kagome that keeps from wanting to die so that he will not be alone anymore. I think that you brilliantly illustrated why he hates to see her go and why he cannot to see her return.

that was sweet. there have been studies about the value of touch. baby's will die or develop poorly without it. i could see kagome as she started not only riding his back but stroking his arm while they talked, leaning against him as they sat together, fiddling straightening his hitoe and kosode without thinking until he expected and reveled in it. . . heartwarming. ~ delighted, ginny

Nice twist there. Thought it was going to be all angsty and sad, with a K-death in there somewhere. Very nice (and unexpected) turnaround, with a very sweet ending.

Jeez!!! Was like... what happened to Sue? Did she "kill" Kagome... I kept reading with this awful feeling... and then... "Sorry I'm late". I should be used to your teasing... but, apparently, was with my guard down!! from the beginning i always thought that higurashi-san knew. to allow her daughter to go off into one of the most dangerous times in japan's history with the added threat of evil youkai, oni and mononoke... in her shoes i would have been investing in light weight body armor and automatic fire power with armor piercing and incendiary ammunition. the girl would not be allowed to traipse around sengoku japan in a short skirt and penny loafers!! . . . good one, got me all worked up. ~ a delight as usual, ginny
