I'm new to your fics and I have to say I've only read this one and the accompanying fic. They're wonderful. I thought they were well executed. I myself had a miscarriag earlier this year and you captured the feelings of heartbreak and emptiness beautifully. It's definitely not something you get over easily or quickly. And unfortunately for the husband/boyfriend, they aren't sure what to say or do, b/c they don't really know WHAT to say/do. And I think you handled that situation very well. Enough blabbering! =] I'm off to read more of your fics.

omg im a huge fan of InuYasha and an even bigger fan of InuYasha fan fics and alot of the ones of him in mod' day tokyo are really... bleh... you did it really well everyone is still very in character and it is soo great! i love this story and the one before it and i hope you do another sme how after this keep up the amazing work and post next chapter soon!! 100 out of 10 all the way!!

Gosh... I love your writing. And I so love the overall warm fuzziness that is this fic. Even with some of the angst this is such a feel-good fic, and it makes me feel happy . It's really sad to see that the 'nice', family-stuff rarely get any reviews at all; I hope the lack of response won't discourage you from writing more. Cheerio!

*cries* I don't know whether that was heart-wrenching or too adorable for words! You've got such a wonderful knack at keeping InuYasha IN-CHARACTER while still letting us realize how much he's changed with the long-ass wait for his mate (The whole *flashback to Miroku* thing was great, too). By the way - I love Izayoi.

I gave you a ten on both your style of writing as well as on your grammar for this reason: Dialogue. It really does make all the difference. I try to make conversations a realistic as possible when I write, so it's very nice to see somebody who appreciates the use of apostrophes as much as I do. I don't think I could stress my point enough about how refreshing the dialogue was. As far as originality and plot goes, well, you know how it is. All of the ideas have already been taken and written about at least a dozen times. I always seem to have a problem with fanfictions set in Kagome's era that aren't AU or just about her family, though you seemed to pull it off rather well. All in all, it was entertaining, especially that bit about the peppermint block and "Otou Words." I'll be sure to look for you and comment on Eternal Destiny, most likely under the name I've used here (nix the nines). ^__^
