This was such an emotional and sad story, I really enjoyed it and it was interesting to see how Miroku dealt with everything. The ending made me cry but at least they were reunited at the end. Good job at making such a great story.

Wow, that was an amazing piece! From start to finish I always anticipated the next chapter. I was shocked when the house burned, I never saw that turn coming! I think ou captured the characters perfectly. It was one of the most enjoyable reads I've had in a long time and I look forward to more from you!

Oh my. Every action certainly does have its consequence, doesn't it? I don't think this is something Miroku expected, that's for sure. He had settled down and started a proper family with the woman he loves only to have some of his wild oats bite him in the behind. I'm not surprised that Inuyasha insisted that he take the child in. I also think he would have done so without the added pressure. I don't think Miroku can sweet talk his way out of this one, either. He's going to have to be straightforward and honest. And hope for the best. Sango's not going to be happy by any means, but if he tries any wiggling to get out of this, she'll be even more unforgiving. I look forward to seeing just how the monk deals with this situation. For the boy's sake, I hope they can resolve it. This line stuck out the most to me: Miroku looked up, and stared at the small dark head peeking out of the blankets on the futon. If he didn't know any better, he would swear it was his and Sango's son sleeping so quietly… just a few years older. I can't wait to read more.

Wow, I did not see that last chapter coming. That is so sad that Miroku's and Sango's son is dead. I wonder how they will cope and what will happen now. Even though this is just a small string of short passages written for a prompt, you have done a wonderful job putting them together into a cohesive whole that is a must read. I can't wait to see what happens next.

The Eight-Fold Path, huh? This could be interesting, especially with the possibilities for Miroku's dukkha since he's blown the third principle of the path (correct actions: avoid killing, stealing and sexual misconduct). Good luck...I'll keep an eye on this one! iPoe
