Okay, now you have me thoroughly intrigued. Why is she asking Hiei to stay with her? Youko seeemed to know she was Hiei's mate, so I am now dying of curiosity to find out why she would feel the need to ask Hiei that. Of course, his "Always" turned me into a big puddle of goo. ^_^ This is so good! I can't wait for more!

Heeheehee! Such a tantalizing first chapter! I love seeing Kurama surprised. It's fun to discover Hiei's relationship through Kurama's eyes, too. ^_~ I could just picture his astonishment turning to curiosity when he felt her power. "WHAT is she?" "GET OUT!" Good thing for him that Youko has such a strong sense of self-preservation. *snicker* Moving right along to the next chapter!
