first off let me say, that's the first time i've read 20 chapters in one sitting. truthfully i had to take a bathroom break but OTHERWISE.. wow. i don't know what to say. you kept me interested at every turn. i couldn't look away. i felt the hate, the mistrust, the confusion, the love, the everything! i enjoyed it thoroughly. thank you so much for writing such a ridiculously good story. and please continue soon!!

What can I say? Except Awwwwwww. Beautiful update! Even though this was a short chapter, you fit into it all that you needed to. We're caught up in Inuyasha's side of things for when he showed up with Kagome, and boy howdy, I was not expecting all of that to take place. But I'm so glad it did! And I thought it was fine the way you breezed through Inuyasha telling Kagome everything, basically saying just that, 'he told her everything', because it would've taken forever for you to literally lay it all out on the line. We don't need a play-by-play recap, we already know. And now Kagome knows, too! This feels like, not only was it just another chapter of the story, but it is like closing a chapter on their lives. Now everything's ready to start with a brand new perspective, and I can't wait to see what you do next!

Yea!! I don't think I have ever loved Sesshomaur until now. I was expecting him to tell his father about Rin, but I was not expecting him to tell his father how childish he was for degrading Inuyashas breeding considering he helped create him. Then to tell Inuyasha to get his things because they would be leaving together. Overall I just loved this chapter. Kudos! Kudos! So looking forward to next update.

Whoa...that change at the end there, that was more than just 'sleeping on it' wasn't it? Will we get a flashback to the rest of the night before, for how Inuyasha changed his mind so dramatically? Of course, if they are going to be together like that kiss indicated they both want to be, then Kagome does have a right to know about him. I'm glad he realized that so soon, regardless of what caused him to do so. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful update! I normally wouldn't condone Inuyasha slashing Hojo's tires, but desperate times call for desperate actions. She is his destined mate, after all. At least he had the mature responsibility to do the play in Hojo's place. Sure, it benefited him since he got to kiss Kagome, but he also saved face for the whole school, with no one the wiser. It also shows his intelligence since this seemed a last minute decision, so he really only knew all of the lines from just watching the rehearsals; good memory. I really can't wait to see the next chapter, now. Hopefully Kagome won't stay in that questioning/denial mode for long and she'll confront him about it, then he can pull her into another kiss to eliminate any confusion. Great job!

Yay! Wonderful update! There are a few typos and missing words, but I figure you were in a rush to get it out to us after keeping us waiting for so long, so thank you! I'm relieved to know you have not abandoned this story. Bummer that their kiss got interrupted, but I'd still say it's fairly obvious to each of them how the other feels by that point. If they don't automatically hook up after this, it's because they're nervous and in denial, not because they honestly think the other person doesn't feel that way. Really looking forward to where things continue from here.

You're welcome, and wonderful work on the newest chapter, as well. I did notice a few little boo-boo's that you should probably go back through and take care of, but nothing too severe. I loved that moment at the beginning when Rin basically pointed out how both humans and youkai are going to automatically be biased in their own ways, and how hanyou are the true mediators. Along that same line of thinking, it's going to be hard for Kagome to truly get Inuyasha to realize that he's not two halves of nothing, and instead, he's really the best of both worlds, but I can see that their relationship is so far progressing quite nicely. I'm sure everything's going to go swimmingly for a while and then suddenly something crappy will happen, but then it'll get nice again, LOL, so I can take the roller coaster. I can feel it coming; I'm ready for it. This is a really good story.

Aww! What a cute chapter!! I love how the progress between Kag and Inu. It's slow but not too slow, it's steady but something always breaks the cycle. Hopefully the cycle doesn't break in Part 2. :)

You definitely cannot allow yourself to feel discouraged if you receive fewer reviews than expected. I say you write what you want to write because you want to. Although I completely understand how it's nice to receive reviews, to know for a fact just how much other people are enjoying your story. On that note, wonderful chapter! I was pretty sure going in that it was going to turn out to be a dream sequence, but that didn't make it any less enjoyable, and I think for a rating of Y, which would be R in the movie world, you were perfectly safe. I also love what you are starting to do with Sesshoumaru and Rin on the side-story, and I'm thinking that somewhere down the line Inuyasha's father might become more aggressive, but then suddenly he won't have as vindictive of a sidekick as he used to. Sesshoumaru still has a long ways to go before he's ready for any sort of revelation, but it'll get there. As for Inuyasha and Kagome, I can't wait to see how you decide to progress their relationship. I'm wondering who will end up confessing their feelings first, Kagome...or Inuyasha's youkai side. Keep up the good work!

Too many authors on MM have given up on their stories, leaving many readers sorely disappointed, especially if the story is getting to the good parts. Don't give up writing a story because the people reading your story haven't reviewed. For some reason, the readers at MM (like myself, speaking for myself) feel stupid leaving a review saying "Good chapter, can't wait for the next", I feel embarressed saying that cause it makes me sound mindless. I am thouoghly enjoying your story, and I really can't wait for the next chapter. The story explores Inu and Kag from a slightly different angle than is usual, and I really enjoy that. I am very particular about the stories I read, but very tongue-tied when telling why. I am no author, I leave that to you guys, and you never fail to delight. I am well on my way to being completely disabled, and the one joy I have is reading fan fiction. These stories you budding authors post for our parusal are like food to me, they keep me going, but sometimes it is painful to type, so don't let the lack of reviews faze you, some times it is because I don't know what to say, and sometimes becuase it hurts to much to say it, but I will always try to respond to author distress. Keep an eye on the reader count, it will let you know who has found your wonderful story.

For a second there, I thought Inuyasha was going to lose track of time, and then Kagome would suddenly hear his dad shouting vilely to know why his disgusting being was still in their house, when he was ordered to make himself scarce for their dinner guests lest they vomit at the sight of him. That would've definitely been a wake-up call for Kagome, but I guess it's just not time for her to know yet, and in a way I'm kind of glad her comment broke the spell and got him off the phone, because at least now we can assume he got out of the house before he would've gotten himself in trouble. I also like how you're hinting that slowly but surely, Sesshoumaru might not be such a prick to him, if Rin keeps managing to worm her way inside the layer of ice around his heart. Loving that Sess/Rin side-story. Keep up the good work!

That was an amazing chapter. I love how you had Inuyasha going from frustrated over the Kagome getting kissed by Hojo to completely forgetting about his own anger with his concern over Kagome. Please update soon cause this has become one of my favorite fanfics. Keep up the excellant work

This is great! It's rather similar to another modern day fic on here somewhere, where InuYasha is actually physically abused by his father, but you definitely explore the concept with your own originality. I also love this because it's a modern day fic where InuYasha lives sort of like he actually did in the manga, instead of being some rich, buff, womanizer that people like to make him out to be. He seems canon, even in a non-canon setting, it's great! Keep up the good work!
