I wasn't expecting another chapter so soon but I'm definitely not complaining. Things are getting interesting. And dangerous. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next with regard to Daichi. On a side note, yay for Inuyasha and Kagome finally finalizing their relationship! Even though it wasn't under the best circumstances, I actually liked the scenario, and the comedic relief afterwards between Kagome and Sumire was a riot, LOL. | Reviewed By: SplendentGoddess [MediaMiner Member] On: November 22, 2013 20:54 EST Rating(s):Enjoyment Factor: 10 of 10 Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: It took me a minute to remember this story, it's been so long, but I'm so glad you updated! Try not to wait a year before the next chapter this time, okay? LOL. I wasn't expecting another update so soon, but this was a cute little break in all the crazy action to just show a peaceful moment as they make their trek back home. Serves Sesshoumaru right, that the seamstress would turn out to know Sumire and make for her what the suited the girl best despite his instructions. I love how she shut him up. And envisioning Kagome's outfit in my head, no wonder Inuyasha couldn't resist any longer! LOL, I love how, since he's had twenty years to mature (at least a little bit) that he isn't the same emotionally constipated hanyou he used to be. Really looking forward to the next update! :-) | Reviewed By: unistar [MediaMiner Member] On: April 11, 2011 22:13 EDT Rating(s):Enjoyment Factor: 10 of 10

Comment/Review: Interesting...I like it! I'll be waiting for the next chapter. | Reviewed By: SplendentGoddess [MediaMiner Member] On: April 10, 2011 09:57 EDT Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Oh jeeze, Daichi sure is in for a surprise. That's so funny...that he wants to capture them and tuck them away in a world of his creation so that they may be 'free'...twisted much? But I do believe that he honestly means them no harm in his mind, so this ought to be interesting. Glad Kagome and Inuyasha have apologized to each other and that her worries have been put aside to realize that he hasn't changed quite so much as she'd feared. I can understand it not dawning on Kagome what Inuyasha's problem had really been while she'd been in his lap, but it was beyond funny that the concept was oblivious to Sesshoumaru. Even not feeling that way himself with regard to Sumire, one would think it would have occurred to him, the hanyou's desire for the miko. That his mind didn't even go there has me thinking Inuyasha's right, none of his testosterone is in the right place! Although the way you explained it, that he still sees Sumire as a child regardless of her recent transformation into adulthood, does greatly explain why he himself was not affected. So I'm really looking forward to the first time Sesshoumaru has one of 'those' types of thoughts, and the most likely horrid expression of self-disgust that will immediately follow, LOL. Comment/Review: great update... seems that the girls have met the bad guy... looks like the guys got there in time... but emotions are a bit high... what's next... update when you can... please and thank you! | Reviewed By: SplendentGoddess [MediaMiner Member] On: March 09, 2011 00:06 EST Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Excellent update! I wasn't sure if the next chapter was going to cut right to them arriving on the island or not, but I'm glad to see that their journey there was obviously hassle-free. I wasn't expecting there to be any survivors on the island, but damn...I wasn't expecting that much destruction, either. And WTF? Let me get this straight...that Asahara Daichi guy only wanted Sumire because he had heard of the legend of her being hidden away, but not because she was betrothed to Sesshoumaru? Oh snap! LOL, well he's in for a surprise, though he already got a small taste of that surprise in this chapter, no pun intended. And typical male youkai arrogance to disregard human life so effortlessly. I bet in his own twisted little mind, he really did think he was liberating her. Sure, he knows she really cared for them, but he thinks her being upset over their deaths is silly and cute, like a little kid being sad over a collapsed ant hill or something. But one little thing is confusing me... If he had only sent Risa to lure Sesshoumaru away to fight in that battle with his father, which he had clearly thought had been a successful ruse until seeing Sesshoumaru arrive on the island, then why did the message contain information about their pending attack on said island? That suggested he knew the island, or more importantly what it containted, was directly related to Sesshoumaru in some way. We had all been led to believe, Sesshoumaru included, that they were after Sumire to use her against him. Hmm... I guess we shall all see how this unfolds starting with the next update, ne? Comment/Review: great updates... seems that sesshoumaru and inuyasha are getting along better... and kagome and sumire are doing fine... sweet moments between inuyasha and kagome... good that inuyasha told kagome everything... nice that they confessed their love too... interesting confrontation kagome had with the spy risa... what will sumire and kagome find on the island?... what's next... kagome must have left a message for inuyasha to find in her room... update when you can... please and thank you! | Reviewed By: SplendentGoddess [MediaMiner Member] On: February 10, 2011 12:36 EST Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Absolutely adored the confrontation between Kagome and Risa. That could have gone so differently had Inuyasha not just told her about the spy, but I love that you did have him tell her and so Kagome knew who the woman was and was prepared instead of being completely confused and caught off guard. Wasn't expecting the twist of Sumire suddenly deciding that she needs to go back to the island, though I can't say I'm surprised Kagome ended up deciding to go with her. That's typical Kagome for you, and I'm assuming she left Inuyasha a note explaining where they went, so even though there's no actual trail to track it shouldn't be too hard for him to find them. Now here's just hoping they don't run into trouble between there and the island...just what is Risa planning? Of course, Risa will go back to Sesshoumaru's for her revenge on the miko, having no idea Kagome just jumped ship, but if she somehow catches wind of where the miko went that could spell trouble for everybody. Oooo this is getting good! Keep it up! | Title: ^_^ Reviewed By: Lunabell [MediaMiner Member] On: February 06, 2011 00:44 EST Rating(s):Enjoyment Factor: 10 of 10 Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: This story is really good! I'm glad I found this story....I've been looking for a good Inu/Kag story. ^_^ | Reviewed By: SplendentGoddess [MediaMiner Member] On: February 05, 2011 23:23 EST Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Yay! *happy dance* I'm so glad Inuyasha and Kagome had that talk! While no good story is without some manner of drama, I much prefer the drama you are building with the spy and what her plans are and the relationship - or lack thereof - between Sesshoumaru and Sumire. We definitely didn't need a slew of Inu/Kag misunderstandings on top of it all. So phew! Got that out of the way. So glad Inuyasha warned her about the spy, too. It's so refreshing to read a story where those two actually communicate! Now I'm really looking forward to whatever happens when the spy actually confronts Kagome. And I'm also glad that you cleared up with Inuyasha's quick statement that even when they had first received word of the attack, it had already been too late to really have done anything about it. I don't know...part of me is envisioning Sesshoumaru turning into a ball of light and zipping over to the island at mach ten to single handedly eliminate the entire invading party, but somehow I doubt it. Ultimately, I think Kagome made a very good point, in that just because you can see the future doesn't mean it is automatically your duty, or your right, to do anything to change it. Sometimes, destiny just is, and as much as it sucks we have to accept that. Just as Sesshoumaru will ultimately have to accept that Sumire's emotions are indeed a force to be reckoned with! Loving the shock on his face. Can't wait to see what happens next. Keep up the awesome work! | Reviewed By: SplendentGoddess [MediaMiner Member] On: February 05, 2011 08:04 EST Rating(s):Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: Ah-ha! Okay, so let's see what we've learned so far. The spy's 'master' is indeed after Sumire, but the spy herself doesn't know that, and has no idea who 'that woman' at the castle is or how important she is to Sesshoumaru. I'm also guessing from Sumire's sudden freak-out that it's too late for Inuyasha to worry about wanting to save her family on the island, Sumire probably just sensed their deaths. I feel sorry for them, but I'm torn between agreeing with Inuyasha's desire to save them and Sesshoumaru's logic that avoiding war is the greater good. Still, maybe Sumire being all shaken up and inconsolable will finally be the kick in the hakama the Ice Prince needs to give a damn about his wife beyond her physical safety. Hmm, what else...*evil laugh* and I'm really looking forward to where you seem to be taking things with the spy and her attempts at Inuyasha. I'm not worried about Kagome's safety, she's learned a lot and is a big girl, but perhaps the spy trying to put a wedge between those two will finally be what brings them together, ne?
