I like the way you tie up a lot of emotional loose ends for them (his distrust, her jealousy) and give us a fun lemon as well. Had you wanted to keep it going after "You can do more than look," I would've supported you, but I like that he clears up her worries instead. Well written! |

Ok, sitting back and enjoying the ride. I can do that! Here we go… I love Inuyasha's oh-so-clever method of getting Kagome to go back to her time. Eats everything then asks her "hey, where's the food?" LOL! And of course Kagome would sniff it out and think Kikyou is involved. *sigh* Oooh, she's a sneaky one, that Kagome! And a painfully naïve dope. But hey, if she wasn't there wouldn't be much of a story. I don't know what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't Kagome smacking him with her bow. At first, when she said she had only two choices, I was skeptical. There's always the option of leaving, even if she has to knee him in the balls and then osuwari him to get away. But then you said that if she left now, they might never again have this chance, and her dilemma made sense. How would Inuyasha react if she rejected him, even if she did it for the right reasons? Wow, I also didn't expect her to ask him to finish. Love the comparison between their relationships with Kouga and Kikyou; that paragraph was really well done. The whole story was well done. You did a bunch of things I didn't expect, but they all ultimately made sense and wove together nicely. You made things uncomfortable in the beginning of the night, but it was abundantly clear that it wasn't truly n/c. I've seen many longer or more detailed lemons, but the one you wrote fit perfectly into the story. And this story wasn't really about the sex…the SplendentGoddess definition of "PWP" you told me about ;) This story felt real to me. Kagome didn't cave in immediately to a lust-crazed Inuyasha, despite how she felt about him. She was scared shitless, and I don't blame her. But she eventually came to realize that in part because of her feelings for him, accepting him in that moment would be infinitely better than making her escape. I felt that the reactions of each character more or less adhered to the canon characterizations, despite the admitted outlandishness of the premise. And the premise wasn't really that farfetched; with all the weird shit that goes on in Inuyasha, why couldn't this happen? Overall, great job with this; I really enjoyed it.
