This was kind of bittersweet and hot. I really enjoyed it, the emotional part along with the physical aspect. Both Inu and Kag were in character for me, and this is something I could totally see happening between them. But this is begging for a sequel!!! Pretty please? |

You really injected her with fun liveliness that was entertaining. The part where Inuyasha injures Kagome unintentionally was really heartfelt and underscored just how much they both love and trust each other when he 'healed' her. Overall, this story was enjoyable from start to finish. |

Notice that I've given you a 10 for Originality/Creativity Factor, even though I've read loads of potion stories, but yours is truly original in its way. I don't recall ever having read such a realistic and not an inch farfetched approach on this subject before. It's fairly sensible that Kagome would get hurt if Inuyasha's body was consumed by desire thanks to a lust potion, whereas all the other similar stories I've read made the experience outstanding in a pleasurable sense. Naturally, I prefer your down-to-earth description (as much as that can be, considering this IS realistic only in a fairytale kind of way) Anyway, from the beginning to the end you've had me captivated and now I'm completely in love with this story. I'm worshiping it. Thank you for sharing :) Or should I say cheers? *wink wink*

There's only one thing I wanted to point out. Koibito doesn't mean beloved. It means lover. Koishii is beloved. :) Anyway's that was a really awesome story! I loved it! Keep up the good work!! :)

Reviewed By: King Baka [MediaMiner Member] On: July 07, 2010 21:00 EDT Comment/Review: You had me worried with that warning there, but it wasn't so bad. But I understand why you put one in there after some close-minded people complained about "Basic Instict 2." I cringed at Inuyasha's predicament. He must've been so chaffed! I was surprised that he sort of dove right in, so to speak, but it makes sense. The lemon scene was good as always, with the utterly predictable but interesting twist involving the healing saliva. I loved Chinatsu as a character; she's not exactly moral but she's not evil either. Is it my imagination or did you try to cut down on your wordiness with this story? If so, I noticed the departure from your usual style. Not a bad thing, just different.

Title: Give Her a Round of Applause!!!!! Reviewed By: soliea0death [MediaMiner Member] On: July 03, 2010 09:25 EDT Rating(s):Enjoyment Factor: 10 of 10 Overall Rating: 10 of 10 Comment/Review: How often do people write about Inuyasha, or sometimes Kagome, being put under some kind of spell or potion just get them to confess their feelings? Then again, if they weren't so stubborn, it wouldn't be so much fun to write, right? I loved how Kagome was being so understanding, even though it caused her pain. Then there's Inuyasha, poor guy, he gets the worst of it, not to mention the guilt of hurting her. At least it was her choice, and he was able to make it up to her by healing and loving her again. I almost want to see a continuation of this; very well written as usual. Your a natural Ms. Goddess! *bows in respect*

LOL You showed the difference between the all consuming, selfish lust and the tender nature of love skillfully. Now, I wonder where they really go from here with all those complications still remaining. In the mean time, I loved Chinatsu! She's such witty old hag. I wish Rumiko Takahashi was merciful enough to give us a character like that if nothing else. But, no. She had to leave us without a single kiss. Sigh. Such a pity.

While I have seen the love/lust potion idea before, you certainly made it your own. As always I love your characterization of Inuyasha and Kagome. Poor Kagome, her first time was so painful but at least it was her choice and with the one that she loved. And Inuyasha definitely made it up to her. You definitely showed the difference between lust and love there. If you plan to write a sequel to this I would love to see it, but if not, it can definitely stand on its own. Great work.
