Yay! An update! Oh wow, I wasn't expecting Kagome's...er...living situation, though I agree with her, it's time to think before acting and try to see if she can get on Sasaki's good side in order to find a weakness. She needs to bide her time and wait for the perfect moment to escape, just like Inuyasha knows as well. No confusion using the bad guys' last names. Oh! And I love what Inuyasha did with the weights! Ha! Take that! Yoshida might not have shown it, but at least for a second I bet he was shitting bricks. And Sasaki could very well be right when it comes to the space time continuum; considering they are all still there in that moment one could hardly argue that it is going to suddenly shift around them if Kagome isn't returned to the past by X. And okay, yeah, Inuyasha isn't human, and maybe if you want to get technical, that means that 'human rights' wouldn't apply to him, like in a court of law or something, but sub human? Ha! That means inferior to that that is one thing that Inuyasha definitely is not. They'll learn soon enough, they'll all learn. One last thing comes to mind... Thinking of Kagome's encroaching monthly has me thinking about Inuyasha's time of the month. Assuming Kagome blabbed everything, then they know he turns human, too, but even supposing that they don't know that in advance if it somehow hadn't come up they'll sure find out eventually. Sasaki is not an evil man at heart, or at least not as evil as Yoshida... He is able to sleep at night with what he has planned because Inuyasha isn't human, so I wonder how he'll feel looking into the human eyes of a human man locked in their cage. Will he still be able to shrug it off? Well...you do whatever you have planned! Don't let me change your story all around. This is awesome. Keep it up! |

i am truly surprised he doesn't want to study her and her abilities. how they work and how powerful her those abilities are. i understand about studying youkai but she has reiki (anti-youki) and powers that are unheard of in this day and age. if i were her i would have been trying to send an SOS with her powers or charging something or even if she knew morris code could she spell sesshoumaru by charging a wall repeatedly with her reiki... |

Totally awesome update! Oh man...Kagome really did come close to getting bumped off there, *phew*. And yes, it does look like the initial burden of escape is hers to make, although I have faith that she'll think of something. All it would take is just one second out of her captor's grasp for Inuyasha to make his move. I knew that cage wouldn't hold him but for a second, that was awesome! But those damn darts! And how far away is the new moon? Fuck! Oh, and they're going to go back and steal the jewel shards from her home! Her family could be in danger! Ah! I know maybe I'm using too many exclamation marks, but I'm really that excited! LOL. So super incredibly OMG looking forward to the next update! :-) |

Crap, the bad guys were smarter than I thought they were, though of course it makes sense that 21st century bad guys that do this sort of thing for a living would know what they were doing. It seems they've covered all the bases, except for realizing just how powerful Inuyasha truly is. I'm sure he'd go full-youkai before letting anybody dissect him. And what's with bad guys always having no sense of honor, anyway? I mean, I guess that sounds like a stupid question, but after hearing Kagome's whole story you'd think they'd realize how important she and Inuyasha are to the whole fabric of time and stopping Naraku and all that, but nooooooo, let's make money and study the hanyou. Greedy bastards probably want to get their own hands on the jewel, too, LOL. Kami, can you write a good drama! Super looking forward to what happens next! |

This chapter was so hard for me to read. I love your work and I know you have an incredible journey in store fro Inuyasha and Kagome; but until then it seems it must get worse before it gets better. :( The way you describe the behavior of each character and scenery is amazing, so vivid! That is why I found it difficult to read this chapter, it was just so real! you could really feel the drama in each scene. I hope you update soon and keep up the great work! |

Hmm IY was holding the sword away from him when he got knocked out cold by the third dart. If he dropped it and those kidnappers didn't bring it with them; they are all in for a very painful rude awakening should IY's demon come forward - especially if the scientist should start experimenting on him. |

Bum Bum BUM. Remind me to smack Kagome upside the head the next time I see her. She's actually going to go back to school tomorrow? Doh! Although, since the bad guys know where she lives I guess it doesn't really matter. And we did a little back and forth because we saw her evening at home and Inuyasha going back with her, presumably to a well-house full of squealing teenage girls, but then cut back to the evil duo at the school presumably only very shortly after Kagome's departure. Was there perhaps already a 'visitor' at the shrine during her fiasco with the well? Not that he would've seen that, but he could have seen Inuyasha's presence and is now biding his time. If not he'll still be making his appearance soon enough, anyway. I get the feeling he doesn't mess around. Oh the humanity! Or...half-humanity! Whatever! Alien or mutant? *snort* Then again, in this modern day and age, I guess the more scientific minds of most people would go in that direction first before 'mythological creature'. Still, super looking forward to seeing what happens next, whatever that may be! I know if Kagome ends up in a bind, all captured with a bag over her head or whatever, Inuyasha will end up rescuing her ass one way or another before something really bad happens. Good stories gotta have their drama, after all, and Kagome is a tough girl, so I'm sure she can survive whatever you put her through. This is awesome! |
