Hey, somehow I missed this one back when you first posted it. How
the hell did that happen? Anyway, it was a nice surprise! For a
while I thought you were going to have them only realize who they
were when they met each other before the wedding, but that wouldn't
have worked. They wouldn't have been able to maintain their
composure, at least not enough so that those with demonic senses
wouldn't realize that something was up. So it's good that you
handled it the way you did. Also, I'm glad you didn't delve too
deeply into what happens after the wedding. This was mostly about
their incredible relief that they get to marry someone they feel
compatible with, in addition to marrying for the good of the
family. It's amusing to imagine how their respective families would
react if they ever figured out what happened... :D

I finally had a chance to read this. Wonderful as always. I loved this. And neither of them can complain about what their fiance was doing before the wedding. I can't help but wonder what would happen if they ever decide to let slip to the parents, it would definitely be good for a laugh to see their reactions. Their dialogue was excellent and really flowed, I had no trouble picturing this whole fic. Great job, now I'm off to read the other fic you posted recently. | Title: Oh MY GOD!

Oh my god, you mean to tell me that I just finished reading the same fanfic on another website BUT find it here a few minutes later and see that it was written by Splendid Goddess! You really are a Splendid Goddess. This fic was recommended to me by one of my friends at school and out of curiosity I start reading it while studying and lo and behold, not only was it hilarious and sexy, but it was also written by one of my favorite reviewers, YEAH! ^_^ I gotta say, I loved the dialogue that the two of them had in the bar, it felt so real and had really good chemistry and when both of them learned each other identity, it was hysterical! Really good one-shot, it gave enough back story for the characters so they didn't feel like cardboard cutouts and it was a great guilty, sexy read. The only comment I can give is that when you're doing a story with more then one character perspective, try not to jump around too much, or give actual breaks when the two of then switch narratives otherwise it gets a little confusing! Ohhh....Such humorous, and also hot, Irony!!!! I had thought that they would find out about each other when Kag's came down the aisle, then they would both bust up laughing. But I like what you did better, cause it gave them more of a chance to actually get accuainted with one another. Wonderful setting, and a nice loving story. Of course I expect nothing less from you. I think both of their personalities came through, considering Inuyasha's biggest wound was a tough breakup with Kikyou, versus a lifetime of hurt, but other aspects of him came through fine. Likewise, Kagome comes out well, despite not being a modern girl in a surreal time warp. Thank you! That was just what the doctor ordered. A nice little one-shot with a cute little twist. And of course, my favorite... Inu/Kag smut... My only criticism, I wanted more Inu/Kag smut after the wedding. Maybe there could be a honeymoon sequel? :-P |
