I have been reading fanfiction for 12 years now. The first
fanfiction I ever read was based on Inuyasha. I wanted to say thank
you from the bottom of my heart for writing such beautiful,
eloquent and well developed stories. I have never written a review
(I always preferred being a silent lurker) and to be completely
honest I NEVER read a story unless it is complete already. Blackout
is the first story that I started that wasn't already complete and
I have to say it was well worth the wait. My poor boyfriend had to
suffer A LOT watching me check my email obsessively just waiting
for that little notification that you posted another chapter. You
have inspired me to start writing again. Okay let me stop before
this gets too out of hand, lol. I hope you start another long fic
soon so I have something to look forward to once again!

YAY! Beautifully done. A truly touching, lovely ending. It'll
probably upset some people but I'm actually glad that you mentioned
all that stuff about Kagome's lifespan, and that in this particular
story there *isn't* the fanon mating mark concept and extending her
life and all that nonsense. Now don't get me wrong, I've done it
plenty of times myself. Practically every story, in fact, LOL. But
it's always refreshing to see them having to face the bittersweet
realities of a more realistic outcome. As much as the fangirl in me
likes to see that workaround, it's admittedly a cop-out for people
who just don't want to face the reality of death. And they will
have many, many happy years together before that happens, anyway,
with plenty of children to keep Inuyasha company throughout the
decades and centuries beyond. I love the vision of him becoming the
patriarch of an ever-growing family. You just know that's what's
going to happen. He's never going to be lonely ever again. And when
it's finally his turn to die, Kagome will be waiting for him.

Overall, a beautiful story. I'm glad you maintained the realistic
nature in shying away from the fannon of mating bonds. Also, I
really like the idea of Inuyasha being the elder guide to his
lineage through the generations. I will say I think a nod to
whether the bat hanyou and her mother actually ended up coming to
live in their village would have been nice. But overall, I'm happy
with the story.

I started reading this when you were about at chapter ten and
eagerly awaited every update. I loved this story, so many emotions
you ripped out of me. You wrapped it up beautifully, thank you for
the wonderful story. Looking forward to the next one if there is
one, you will forever be on my favorites list.

I came across this story a few months ago and I can honestly say
that this is the best written fiction I have had the pleasure to
read here. You have incredible talent. Keep up the amazing work! I

Awwww... Wonderful update! I absolutely loved how you
handled the wedding scene, and Inuyasha saying his own vows, and
the friendly banter between he and Jii-chan afterwards. The bathing
scene was funny too, especially when the oni attacked. I can so
picture a naked Inuyasha with transformed Tetsusaiga propped on his
shoulder, LOL. They definitely should bring her bow and arrows with
them, just in case. You never know, right? And yeah, it's the
Shikon that attracted the oni in the first place, but I agree with
Inuyasha. They need to let her family see the baby before they
purify the jewel and presumably close the well as a result. Lovely
wedding night scene, nudge nudge wink wink. I usually read and
review this bad boy over on FF, but not when there's awesome adult
rated stuff to be had! LOL. I can't say I blame either of them for
wanting to postpone intercourse, all things considered, but I love
what Kagome decided to do to make it up to him. I love that
she decided to make it up to him. There's just something about a
writhing, moaning, helpless Inuyasha that's sooooo... Mmmmm... What
was I talking about? Oh yeah, anyway, good update!

It takes a masterfully written scene to bring me to tears. Only 4
stories have managed to do it. Your scene for Kikyou's death was
the first fanfiction to do it. And When Kagome was rejecting him, I
legit felt my heart in my throat. This is definitely a work of art.

It's finally coming to an end! This has been such a great story!
I've been checking back on it every other week to see if you've
updated. Haha. I'm glad Inuyasha has his body back and Kikyo is
finally at peace. You gave her a great ending. Can't wait for the
next chapter!

I have enjoyed following your story. It is fascinating how Hakago
is now, in a childish way, similar to how Sesshoumaru used to be.
He disdains humans and anyone who is weak. His main goal is to
acquire power, and he measures himself according to the opponent he
can beat. Of course there are significant differences, between the
past Sesshoumaru and the current Hakago, but there are ways in
which their motivations are strikingly similar. I wondered if you
had thought about it. Anyway, good story. I look forward to your
continuation.

Okay, dude, I love your fanfics. I'm not eeven going to lie.
But,I'm almost to the point of dreading to read the updates. I hate
what you're doing to InuYasha. He fucked up, but no one deserves to
be tortured this long. I know that you have to have a plan to get
InuYasha and Kagome together, but I think that I'm going to have
sit this one out until you've finished with the story. It kinda
makes me sad because your one of the few writers that I still read
from this fandom. Either way, good luck with this story.

Jebus...I'm writing this after months of not being able to review.
I started this at chap one. I had no doubt it would be good. I
didn't know it would be so good it would hurt to read. I had to
stop for a while it was so angsty. But I'm caught up now. I wish
I'd waited to come back only so I could read more. And just so's
you know a fan fic has never made me cry before, and I've read a
lot of them, but this one has had me chocked up on numerous
occasions. I truly hope they get their happy ending soon cause
you've tortured them more then takahashi san could at her darkest.
I'll be waiting patiently for the next installment.
