To the author: Was a pleasure to see Ritsuko and Co's story
continue, and evidence that you're still alive. But dammit, two
novels uploaded at once? (...or maybe these were published
somewhere else first?) I'm glad I had a few days off. To readers:
Despite the X rating there's no smut, so don't read this expecting
a smut-heavy fic like those A-Z was writing years ago. It does not
suffer for the lack though, and A-Z's old stories are still around
for re-reading if you enjoy smut. (Mad Libs erotica should be more
of a thing...) For those who care about such details, this part
leans more heavily on the GATE side of the crossover, but Ritsuko
remains the main character. There's a little less nation
(re-)building compared to the first part, but Ritsuko continues to
Boss nations around. There are a few spellcheck typos (manner
instead of manor, precedence instead of precedent, that sort of
thing (I didn't write them down, alas)), and the less than somber
attitude on the topical island was a little jarring. I heartily
recommend it.
