So it was a wolf the whole time...that's what I thought of when the first chap came out but I thought it would be too obvious. Anyway, great chap and a super lemon. I loved Goku's surprise visit, especially when he made the remark about her being naked outside of the GR and then disappearing-lol. I agree, it does sound like it could be a kumiho (and the page that talks about the kumiho also mentions the kitsune, and there only seemed to be one page that even mentioned it) ... so i guess i'll have to go with kumiho, too (it's in the same family with the fox and all...)
The other thing I was thinking before is that it could just be a plain old wolf, as opposed to a were-wolf, because before the whole were-wolf legend, that actually came about because they used to think that people turned into wolves at night and ran around doing bad things ... but that is European mythology, not Japanese mythology ... which makes me think it's wrong! Damn!! That was really good. You really should write more B/V lemons (hint, hint). Well if Veg doesn't turn into a fox I can only think of an animal that even a grizzly wouldn't mess with and that's a wolverine. Those little shits are ballsy and have a serious attitude problem -just like Vegeta ^_^. Oh before I forget, I was gonna e-mail you but I might as well let you know now that when I clicked on your bio page I saw artwork listed that's not yours. Hi.. Personally, I think this is similar to the Japanese Kitsune legend of fox demons and fox possesion. "In beliefs, myths, legends. and folk tales from the Far East, there can be found a number of were-animals who can change into human form. These include dragons, tigers, wolves, foxes, badgers, and more. The Oriental were-fox is often vampiric. In Japan, the name of the were-fox is kitsune. In China, the name is huli ching.
Even today, there are special Japanese temples to which people, believing themselves afflicted with fox-possession go to for healing. While debilitating physical diseases are often attributed to fox-possession, the person allegedly possessed might have such symptoms as speaking in a voice not his own.
In Korea, the were-fox is much like those of China and Japan, but in some Korean tales it kills its victims outright and eats their livers or bites them and drinks their blood while they sleep."
You said it wasn't a big cat, etc, or I would have guessed about that....there are many Cat possetion/ cat demon stories as well....

Boy I was sweatin' the outcome of that chase, but I'm glad it turned out for the better. Now, why in the hell can't I ever roll onto something that looks that good. It's not fair, Bulma has all the luck :(. Anyway, since Veggie doesn't become a coyote, could he possibly be turning into a fox? Ok. This chap was great and nauseating at the same time. Poor Bulma, in her attempt to help Vegeta, has now become a possible meal for Yogi. I find it funny as hell that Veg, as hurt as he is, is still thinking about Bulma in her bikini. By the way his injuries remind me of something I saw a few years ago. Desert rat that I am, I decided one summers day to go to Death Valley. Now there's a death wish. It was 125 degrees in the shade. Anyway, while gasping for air under a pathetic excuse for a tree, a coyote ran past me on all threes. Yeah, the poor thing was missing one of his hind legs. It wasn't completely gone but the trap had done enough damage. One of the tour guides told me that it was a common site and that the poor animal would probably kick because of an infection. Anyway, maybe Veggie turns into a coyote. And if he doesn't then you tell me. I've exhausted plenty of brain cells trying to decifer this, so I'm guessed out. Great update. Dang, I thought for sure it was oozaru, modified slightly because of the loss of the tail. Goku wouldn't have had the problem because he'd lost his tail when he was young, but since Vegeta lost his as an adult, his body had been used to the change every full moon. Therefore some physiological shift would still occur, but it would be sized down. Did you know that some gelded stallions still react sexually to mares? ;) It's true!
Anyway, even that doesn't fully fit because true oozaru accompanies an increase in power, not loss of it. I hope you've got a good explanation for why/how 'Geta happened to get this malady... "it just happened" isn't going to cut it, not with the grief you're giving us! ;)
