I can't put into words how much I enjoyed reading this arc (no, seriously, I'm from Germany and too much in awe of your writing right now to express myself in English without sounding like an idiot). ^_^ Then again, I also love your fics in other fandoms, like Weiss Kreuz and GW. Your newest YohjixKenxAya is simply incredible ^__^ Well, I'm off to read all the other fics you have up on mediaminer right now, the rest of the "Encounters" fics to be precise. You write lemons so damn well ^_~

Wow, I reached the end. O.o Dammit, I still have so many things to do...but you have so much more to *read*... I truly enjoyed this a lot; As an English/Linguistics major, sure, I had a few problems with the writing/Japanese use, but I'm a geek. ^^; It was *nice* writing though, clean and clear, which I enjoyed. Characterisations on Gojyo and Hakkai may vary from writer to writer, but you managed to capture the integral *essence* of their togetherness to the point where my views on characterisation didn't matter as much as where you were taking things. Grrr...I should be writing, not reading! ^_^ Oh, well.

Kiko's death, while sad (poignantly so, which is a point for your writing of him), serves an interesting purpose here. I'm looking forward to the rest. As for the Hakkai/Gojyo dynamic in the manga---oh yes, much random touching. ^__^ Much random looking, too. The anime is nice too, since they seem to emphasise areas that were understated in the manga, but overall the manga is even more innuendic. (Of course, since Minekura-sensei began her career in shounen ai doujinshi...)

Dammit, I love milk, but I can't drink it with anything other than coffee! I adore the realistic feel to this (ignoring my bitching about length---I always bitch about length -_-;).

Shaping up very nicely ^_^ even if still too fast for me. Damn, why do I like novel-length chapters? Nice writing even if a few of your referrents throw me (probably me, not the writing). I really shouldn't be reading this; I really should be NaNo-ing...but no one ever writes nice Hakkai/Gojyo! ::denies NaNo file, continues to read::

I'm probably in a minority here, but the first chapter went too fast for me. ^^; Then again, I love long drawn-out, introspective angst---especially when Hakkai and Gojyo are involved. You mentioned Hakkai's (Gonou's) Limiters at the end in your A/N. It's something that's always bothered me, their suddenly being there; it was much the same in the manga. But then I decided "Hey, you can't *really* see his ears very well, so..." ^_^ Off to peruse further; this is one of my favourite couples (discounting Tenpou/Kenren, of course) and it's damn hard to find well-written fan fic on them.

Here's my few sentences to let you know how much I enjoyed this fanfic.
sentence number one and two: I read this all in one sitting. Made for weird dreams when I finally passed out. ^^;;
I recognized your name from when I used to haunt GW Addiction.com, and I'm pleased to see you write for one of my newest obsessions. The commercial release of Saiyuki is pretty good, and the dub is outstanding.
...particularly if one means "outstanding" to mean "greatly enlarge Travellyr's unacceptable-in-polite-company vocabularly."

Ohayou, Llama-sama!! (that sounds funny) Anyway.. Ummm... isnt Sanzo's hyandgun like an exorcism gun or something (hope we're spelling that right). I must say, yaoi from a males' perspective is so much different than female. In a good way. Gonou/Gojyo is my *fave* pairing ;_; But, then again, this from the series where *every* shounen ai pairing works ^^;; I haven't seen these eppies yet, might help a bit, ne? This is the first Saiyuki fic I've ever read, but--this is definitely a must-read. I think you kept very well with the canon and only annoyed me occasionally... ^~^
Hint: its hard *not* to annoy me--this is a *compliment* ~_^
