I really love this fic^^ And you're right, number three is probably the best option for this fic because it would be a little much if both kids were born in the same fic.
As for the name, I think Winter is good^^ But if you don't want it to be too obvious or weird, you could use "Fuyu" which is the Japanese word for winter^^ But if not then Winter is good, I think that giving people names like that makes them original which is one of the things I love about this fic, everything is so original and you write the characters so well--the ones you made up seem like they've always been there^^
Another thing I love about this is that you write Squall as being somewhat weak and feminine without overdoing it like a lot of people do and Seifer isn't always so arrogant but also not too emotional. You gave the characters a good balance in their emotions and didn't make them overly OOC.
Your switches between perspectives give a better look on the ways the characters are feeling instead of guessing all the time and it wasn't too sudden or confusing, it all went together smoothly.
You've added comedy into it without making it a stupid type of comedy and making it really enjoyable but not so that you expect it all the time and it makes for a good break from some serious moments.
You've done an excellent job of portraying the way Squall acts when he's pregnant and once again, didn't make him too feminine, you balanced it perfectly.
An added bonus is that you make your chapters really long so that there is more to read at once and always makes you want more. It's long without being too long--excellent^-~
Wow...this is a long review...I'm sure that like everyone's fics, there are faults in some areas but if there are, they are insignificant because I can't remember them^^; and they also don't distract the reader from the story iself--excellent work.

Winter Skye works for me. And while all three of your story options are viable, I also favor the third. This part focused more on SxS than on Isan and Seveyn than I'd hoped, but still a wonderful chapter. And I'm sure they'll be able to have more 'screen-time' in the next one, ne? |

In unexperienced hands original characters and MPREG can turn out very badly, but you've handled everything exceedingly well. Both Isan and Seveyn are interesting characters and I'd like to see more of them. Continue soon! |

Style of writing: Flowed flawlessly. Not many like that. Impressive.
Spelling & Grammer: Bound to be grammatical errors, but good nonetheless. Who cares when it flows easily.
Originality/creativity: Personally, the prospect of newly introduced characters in any fanfic daunts my interest because they are practically very difficult to develop to fans' already-set interests; however, think you opening the story from Isan's pov gradually drew my regard --though weak at first, enough by the end of ch.1 for me to crave more. Nicely done. But your mix of Isan and SXS scenes are still a must. Anyway, I'm convinced that liking Isan is very possible, and that's enough evidence of a developing good fic --though I'm still a bit disgusted --sorry-- with Squall's new odd "ability" --but Isan's existence and role is what counts.
Enjoyment: Not necessarily "fun" but appealing in a calm sort of way --the kind of story that could grow on one if written nicely. Kind of like playing FF7 --new but not really either --but has a lot of potential --though FF7 lived up to that of course.
Overall: Either it's worth it or not. Your fic was worth reading --period. |
